Just because you didn't expect them to continue supporting the platform doesn't mean that you should reward them for abandoning it. Also, sales had nothing to with them dropping support since Nintendo has always done that. Wii was their best selling console and Nintendo only put out 1 new 1st party game for it in 2012 (and only 2 in 2011).

So sales only matter when it is a Nintendo game that sells well, for everyone else they are irrelevant. I look forward to reposting your quote if you ever talk about sales of Smash Bros or Pokemon and how great games there are because of that sales success.

Monster Hunter World is the highest rated MH game ever and it just sold 2 million copies on PC bringing its current sales well over 10 million. I do enjoy how the success of MHW bothers you fanboys. How exactly is this surprising? It is a limited edition console that people have been waiting for since 2016 to get their hands on. If you want something surprising, the fact that it didn't top sales in 2016 even though preorders sold out shows just how badly it was handled the first time it was for sale. 2 million units is an acceptable amount smh.
