I no longer care about Resolutiongate. Comparing pixels is now just a headache.
Play the games you love. Despite more pixels, 1080p's etc on say PS4, the games are performing better, scoring better and are just better experiences (At launch) for the Xbox One.
Resolutiongate made the Xbox One seem so inferior, but the games are speaking for themselves.

I am buying Xbox One because of my long standing support for Microsoft. I love my Xbox 360 and what it gave me and I'm excited for Xbox One in a little over 27 hours from now when I collect it. Cant wait. I like the games on MS XB1 also, and I am looking forward to what the next few years will bring.
Also, I have a PS3, Wii, Wii U and enjoy them too, my XB360/One are just my overall favourites and nothing wrong with that IMO.

Nice Adam. Always liked your style even if people complain. Folk need.to be accepting and accept others analysis. But I also say gamers make your own choices and don't rely on others to tell u what to buy.

You are right though, once its all live Nov 22nd, its a different experience most definately.
Everyone has their opinion of whats better for themselves. For me, I like Xbox One and will game on that. Oh and I also prefer pizza over pie too. Pies come in 1 flavour, Pizza comes with many different toppings. ;) End of the day we all eat right?
Is it just a new amp that you need, or do you actually need more speakers too? Not sure, i have a 5.1 speaker set up now, but if I get a new AMP, will I need additional speakers to take advantage of this format? Also, are any games encoded with it yet, or more on the cards for down the track? Cheers.
I think thats the issue. I may be wrong here, but I thought the dev codes the game for the current gen, and then ups the graphics, textures etc for next gen. Hence why thereis not a noticable difference in games like AC4 between say current gen and next gen. I think once they say the next AC title is purely next gen, then they can save all the time bothering with other versions and really capitalise and focus their developement on the next gen versions.
For me, reviews are best handled by sites, and hence why we have the metacritic. It provides 2 distinct scores, actual web site aggregated scores as well as user reviews. I never both with user reviews, for example as with some games they are rateda 0 or 1 by disgruntled folks who just want to pull the score down and the funny part is sometimes those games are not even out yet. So thats why I like the Media score on Metacritic as it always focuses on the websites scores only.

I'm hoping Ryse is a decent title. I do think having a new ip is a great move forward for ME and who knows what the sequel will be like in the future.
I still think the game will be fun and fine, sure it's no 10/10 but I am sure it will score mid 7's to an 8 tops.
I love Uncharted and will buy a PS4 just for this game it's all I need. Brilliant series
