Australia is a very healthy market and one thats been dominated by Sony for many years. This is big news for Aussies and Xbox gamers as the Xbox moves to top spot.

Sorry Ghost, thats not the case. People dont like it when we call someone or something out. Its what we do, if Sony employs Microtransactions in GT6, then they are equally at blame as is Microsoft with Forza 5. Or, is it Microsofts Xbox One party chat and certain features that are poor, we call them out. We also called out Nintendo with their abysmal display at the VGX awards, Cranky Kong, are you serious? Then we called out EA and Battelefield with their piece of crap unfinished game. ...
I wanna give it a try on the Xbox 360 as well, good to see its multi plat, everyone should give it a whirl.
Console is at the end of its life, look how long it took for GT5 to come out! Donkeys years and again to wait ages for GT6, some things had to give. It makes sense to put less effort into those graphics and more sense to have it running at a far smoother frame rate. The game may look less impressive (only marginally) but I bet it runs better than GT5 in terms of feel and speed/frames etc.
Matt666 it was never mentioned that these games were Xbox 360 exclusives, and some games are clearly multi plat and we acknowledged that. It was the 10 best games that we thought were the best games that helped define the Xbox 360. Sure, if they are multi plat they can define any system technically.
If you bought a Xbox 360, these are the 10 games in our opinion that you need to get your hands on. Simple as that. Hope that clears up any confusion.
I love Nintendo, but to call a weeks sales of the Wii U that are higher than the previous weeks sales a "trend" is very presumptious indeed. A trend would be over a longer period of time. An article perhaps showing the last 6 months stats would have more impact and credibility.
Its amazing how every one called Microsoft M$ and money grabbers and here Sony, now called P$4 are also money grabbers. Forget the systems guys, and remember the following:

I never store any credit cards on any system, however this is not good news as Sony always seems to be the target by hackers.

Also, Microsoft actually now sends you firstly the free game to play while you wait for the new console to arrive. Thats right, they ship the new replacement console to you immediately. Also, you can still play a downloaded game while your drive is busted, so thats great news.
Hardware fails, no matter who it is, the kudos need to be given to how well its repaired or replaced and the speed and ease which its done.

All I am gonna say is I played Ryse, its loads of fun, lots of eye candy and yeah its worth a play. Wish people actually played a game and tried it as opposed to discounting it based on reviewer scores. This is a game where the Metacritic is 60 / 100 and most would steer clear but its really a good game.
Not every game needs to be a 9/10 or more to be worthy of playng. People loose sight of that and the best judge of a game is you, even if you hire it, dont miss it.
So too has Gears of War and god dam just about every other movie in existence. Its not news, nor a guarantee the movie is being made. So much needs to happen first. Its just a way to garner interest. When you see a preview for the film, consider it gospel then.
What a ridiculous story. Ryse and Knack are 2 reasons why you should buy those games because they are exclusives. Exclusives help consoles build their instal base. Whats the point of the cross plat titles, doesn't matter which system you have you can all experience the game. Both Knack and Ryse are new IP's and from my time with Ryse, I really thoroughly enjoyed it and I much prefer that over say COD for example.
SUpport the exclusives folks is my 2 cents.
Who cares what devs say, each has their own preferences and bias etc.
Judge the finished product, to hell with opinions.
Lets be real here guys. Nintendo will do another Zelda, Metroid etc. But come on, as a long life Nintendo gamer, do I really want to get the same franchises every generation over and over again? No.
Nintendo its time to bring some new franchises to the table, or redo some older classics again. You have so much up your sleeve, why not use it.
And even if its great games, people will discount the Wii U against the X1/PS4.

Game has cash flow issues, did so a while back, half its stores closed, even Australia saw all GAME stores out of business. I'd be skeptical about giving GAME my money, espeically after I never saw any of my Pre-order deposits back when they went bust.
