Very well said, people forget being a gamer means playing ALL GAMES, ALL SYSTEMS (if possible).
Never discounting anything till its played and tried.
I like Titanfall very much, great game, congrats to MS too, Respawn etc, you deserve some good news.
I do think the xbox one has done a great job adapting to changes so quickly, it's a testament to MS as a great software company. Dodges pitchforks!!!!! Good job MS.
For anyone thinking it was going to be a landslide needs to rethink their stance as it's going to be a very close and competitive generation.
Very good results all round, and good to see MS recovering some ground here.
I am extremely curious to see what Titanfall Delivers.
Agreed! I'd happily sit here and know that Titanfall could bring down XBL with its huge demand. fingers crossed thats the case.
Hmm, could be some internal issues at Naughty Dog perhaps? Either way, as long as these folks stay in the industry thats the main thing, never good to loose good talent.
I sincerely hope MS, EA and Respawn do very well with Titanfall. They deserve it, its a excellent title.
Can we please rename N4G to T4G? It seems stories are all just Tweet quotes these days. Come on, what ever happened to journalism?
Cant wait for this game, its gonna be Epic!
As for the haters, go play something you like, and leave the Xbox/PC fans alone to enjoy their games please.
I love this game so much, it makes shooters fun again in a simple jump in and jump out style. The graphics are nice and the characters entertaining. Have played this non stop all week and still loving it. Pick it up they say, I couldn't agree more. And its just $39.95 on 360 and $49.95 on X1 in Australia. Cant complain.
Everything has a patch these days, everything requires the need to install and download updates, its part and parcel of the game industry in particular next gen. The sizes are bigger cause everything is bigger. Its just the next step. I remember when 1 mb was big to download, took hours on dial up. Point is, in a little while we'll say "wow cant beleive we thought that was big, lol"
Excellent review! Gonna pick this up when it's out in iOS
Wow, just wow.
Time to take it on the chin Sony. Easy as that and lets move on.
Wow RiPPn, I know your a long time listener but do you have to always listen to a 1 and a half hour show and take notes on when something that doesn't agree with you is said and make public point of it? What about the other 85 minutes of the show where all the news, game reviews, upcoming games, what we're playing and more were discussed?
In regards to my comments on DRM, let me clear this up. As a game collector and someone who values physical medium, my prefer...
This is excellent. In Australia, 40 pounds = $80, which is XBL cost for 12 months. So with it being 60 pounds for 2 years, thats $120, or $60 a year. This puts Xbox Live now below PS+ membership annually of $70.
If MS does this, its getting very competitive indeed.
Good job MS, lets hope it rolls out across all continents.
Why is it ok for you to write a ridiculous trolling comment like that and it gets 53 agree votes? Its clear that the community here is severely skewed towards Sony.
If the bundle, recent updates and a good launch library plus titanfal doesn't shift units we may have a problem Houston.
Is it just me or are twitter posts becoming news statements these days. I hit a link for an article and I get a twitter comment. Hell you can sum up the entire article in the header! Thats cause its a tweet. So sick of tweets. Not complaining about what he said, but come on. Tweets should almost now N4G have their own separate category within the news banner.
How the FARK is this a story?
Seriously people.
This isnt a clear cut OMG its coming to PS4. So much can happen. What a company would "like" to work on versus what it can "afford" to work on, differ vastly. Respawn can benefit immensely from large bags of cash from Microsoft to keep this game as a MS exclusive as opposed to going Multiplat and "hoping" all gamers buy the game. In the end, receiving the cash upfront may significantly outweigh any future risk.
I see where Respawn is going ...
