Borderlands is such a bad game, I have no clue where the acclaim comes from. It really is one of the worst shooters I've played of all time.
Really? I've never heard someone say Morpheus is better than Rift. I've heard the exact opposite from people having experienced both. Maybe Sony does have the better tech after all.
The number one way to tell these guys are full of shit is that they claim to know WAYYYY too much about Sony and MS. There's no way these guys know what games look like on the dev side and there's no way they know the games development. There's no way they know the insides and outs of the " secret sauces" these companies have. That's why the only guy that seems like a real insider to me that has a source or sources is Shinobi. They're wrong a lot but it never gets posted. Literally Thuway, Tidux, and especially that idiot Mistermediax were wrong about 70 percent of the time on their E3 predictions. The problem I have is when people quote these guys when all they make is educated guesses mixed in with a lot of wrong predictions and a lot of obvious predictions.
There's no chance anyone is giving away 4 games with a console.
The tech is almost there. The tech as far as consumer ready isn't there yet. The technology is not cheap enough to sell to consumers yet. The magic number is 99 dollars.

The problem with that line of thinking is, I can't see myself dropping a combined 700 bucks plus games on a PS4 and a Wiiu when I'm just going to be playing 2 or 3 games tops per year on the Wiiu. My gf has one and has played Tropical Freeze and now Mario Kart and that's it. She's a die hard Nintendo fan, but I can't see someone who's just a gamer buying a system for that much money to play just a couple of games a year.
I've never got the appeal of a lot of these games that Nintendo puts up. Smash Bros never really appealed or made sense to me. Another game that I never got into was Mario Party. It's weird when they hit home runs they really hit them, Ocarina of Time, Mario 64, Starfox 64, SM Glaxy, and recently Tropical Freeze. But they somehow come up with these franchises that get popular like smash bros that baffle me on how they got that popular.
The most i'd pay for a wiiu is 200 bucks. I can't justify dropping 300 dollars for it at this stage of the game.
The Last Guardian wasn't shown too early. There was an alpha shown like a year later at TGS. They scrapped it at the alpha phase and rebuilt it.
Drop the ball on a 160 million user base? Nah they're not doing that any time soon. Way too much money to be had.
Rare probably has stuff for gamescon or they were simply not ready to present. They hired a bunch of people then fired most of the kinect guys, so they're probably working on some newer games. Personally I'd like to see a new Perfect Dark remake.
