PR statements are so laughable these days. Anthem looks super generic, a shell of a game
Kind of annoyed that the extreme media hype ruined the first impression of this game. It’s not anywhere near as good as I was expecting.

Agreed, but there’s something about PUBG that’s extremely satisfying.. the engine, the shooting.. I can’t put my finger on it. I’m curious if BFV and Blops can capture this, or if the AAA ones will just feel tacked on.

True except for all multiplat games and shooter exclusives, but ya those 3rd person adventure exclusives are neat on ps4
CrimsonWing, short answer is no, but the long answer is depends what you are into. TLOU remastered is my favourite story driven campaign of this gen. All the PS4 games you listed are 3rd person action/adventure. My overall favourite game of this gen might very well be xbox’s ‘timed’ exclusive PUBG because I enjoy competitive PVP shooters and it’s a fresh take on the whole genre. The title should be changed to “Best FPS games since 2007”. You can’t say ALL TIME and not have any of the great FPS campaigns that started the genre.

Agreed, The Division 2 looks like a decent game but it looks very similar to the first. I find the MMO-esque shooters have a generic/diluted plot, and they never really go anywhere because everything has to be so open-ended. Everything just ends up feeling very generic / casual

I agree and it's an interesting debate with Siege, so heavily dependent on communication. It's not like CoD where I can mute the whole lobby and still do well. Will be interesting to see how this plays out..
Since when did free speech mean hiding behind your anonymous gamertag and calling everyone in the lobby a racial slur? Society put a set of basic rules in place for a reason.. go call a stranger on the street a racial slur and report back what happens

Ya it sucks and you are not the target. But people will make new habits. If it means less kids reading " c***, n*****, f** " and thinking 'hey it's online you can say whatever you want to people' - then all the better

As a multiplayer guy this is hands down best game I’ve played in years. Haven’t stopped playing with friends since December. Cruising with a crew in vehicles some really crazy things can happen. Prefer over the other game due to vehicles, ADS with several different scopes for all guns, and the realism. Can’t wait to play Sanhok tonight
