Can someone who watched the whole reveal explain if there's anything different about the core gameplay than BF1? Will this be pretty much BF1 re-skinned? I loved BF4 but didn't like BF1 that much. I'm talking strictly Multiplayer. Thanks

To be honest I played fortnite for a couple months in the fall before PUBG and FN is a blast. Prefer PUBG tho.. would def give H1Z1 a go..
It's free to play so people get hooked. It's ON PS4! - massive sales right there. It's cartoony so parents don't mind their kids playing. Fortnite is obviously destroying PUBG in sales, it's on more platforms and appeals to a much wider audience. Super obvious.

But if they can't nail something like solid framerate down on a beast gaming PC then how do you expect it to be smooth on xbox? The game is just not built very well is what i'm getting at.. nothing really to do with xbox. None of which has stopped me from having the most fun i've had online in many many years
Well if all you have is cartoony Fortnite then it might be nice to have semi-cartoony H1Z1. Not everyone can have the real thing you know
But wasn't PUBG a mess on PC? Isn't it still? I don't see how MS/xbox would get any blame for this. From what i'm reading it's the gaming engine / way it was built, that is at fault.

I’m not sure what game you’re watching.. Blops4 plays a LOT like Blops3, which already had specialists. All the specialists play the same 95% of the time. Overwatch heroes are very distinct in their playstyle. To me Blops4 plays nothing like Overwatch. Or Siege. It plays like CoD. Please enlighten me..
Overwatch and Siege have no single player = No Problem. CoD removes single player. Keeps MP, zombies, adds a BR mode = Big Problem?
Unreal how many people love CoD campaigns. Generic, cliche, military. Maybe this will allow gamers to see that there are better campaigns available
Battlefield push the genre forward with vehicles and destruction? 1. Pubg already has vehicles. 2. Battlefield has less and less destruction each year.
How many maps are there going to be? Unknown at this point? If it's 9 maps then yes that's a lot less effort for them to replace SP with a BR mode. If it's 15 maps then maybe that means a more robust MP package, which is a plus for the people that pick it up for MP only (majority)
I agree it's not a great move. And it's also same price for less effort. But the 3/4 who pick up the game for MP are still going to get it, especially since it's Treyarch
You nailed it in your first sentence, it’s on xbox one.. aka it’s NOT on PS4 yet. Hence the game is garbage.
Playing on the X and it’s a blast solo or with buddies, driving around multiple vehicles hunting people down, it’s great fun.
As for the Miramar I played the first weekend PTS on the X, and I actually thought it ran better than Erangel. I’m not sure what this article is referring to, unless it’s gotten worse on subsequent rounds of testing?
I don’t think they have a case, but all this talk of they should improve their game instead of suing.. none of the dev team is going to court, lol.. They have lawyers for that
