Yep, Dead Space is awesome. By far one of the best new games to come out this generation. It has become many of our favorite survival horror games.

There are very few blatantly trolling comments in response to this video. On the other hand, PS3 extremists have been trolling Forza 3 articles since it was released. But not only did you guys talk constant crap about Forza 3 in Forza 3 articles, but also in nearly every GT5 article you also had to talk down Forza 3. Hell, it didn't even have to be an article about driving games, I saw plenty...
Yep, that pretty much sums it up. These same people were cheering when glitch videos showed up for Forza 3. They did their best in the comment sections to make it seem like Forza 3 was a glitchy mess, which it isn't at all.
Personally, I don't think a few glitches in GT5 is any big deal. But at the same time, for the ruthless way in which these guys attacked and continue to attack Forza 3 I don't feel a bit sympathetic towards them.

PS3 vs 360 is debatable for me, but in my opinion F3 IS better than GT5 and WRPGs are better than JRPGs.
I love Japanese culture and speak Japanese fairly well, but even many Japanese developers recognize that Japanese game development is in a lull.
Maybe this score is too low, but then again those 9s and 10s are definitely way too high. I think it's meta average is about right. But then again, it is all subjective.

I guess you are not aware of all the mistakes Sony has made in the past. Rootkit fiasco, exploding batteries, stupid proprietary formats that only hurt compatibility, etc.
Capitalism always gets blamed for the abuses or deviations from capitalism. Most of the bad examples people point to are not in fact examples of problems with capitalism, but rather the problems of statism.
It's pure ignorance to hate MS, but ignore the fact that other big companies like Sony are no better or worse. They have all made mistakes and they have also all added great products to our lives. If Sony makes something I want, I buy it. If Microsoft makes something I want, I buy it.
I see where you are coming from and I basically agree. But I have to say that it isn't as horrible as some fanboys make it out to be.
This year I have been very happy with my 360. There have been lots of great exclusive games, not to mention all the multiplatform games.
Next year does look a little weak, but I will wait and see how things turn out. Even if next year does turn out to be weak on the hardcore exclusive games due to Microsoft focusing ...
Except you guys are wrong. Sony did not report that it sold 2.5 million in 25 days. It reported it shipped 2.5 million.
But you know, if they come out with an official report with real numbers that show that they have sold more in the same time frame then I will gladly congratulate them. In any case, it is clear that Kinect is doing very well.
All companies report the numbers of units they have sold to retailers, since that is all that matters from their point of view. Sales to retail are what all companies report as sales.
Why would they report how many units retailers sold to customers (even if it were possible) when that is not what the company or its stock holders care about?

Yes, waaaaay better than the hype. It's actually underrated even though it is getting mostly good scores. It drips quality from start to finish and is easily one of the best games of the year. Hell, it's one of the best games I have played all generation.
I completely agree with this review. I love Castlevania Lords of Shadows. It's one of the best games of the year.
I would love for it to be Half Life 2 Episode 3 or Half Life 3, but there is no way they would announce something like that with so little fanfare. I am still excited to see what it is. I love Valve games.
Personally, I am buying it for the single player experience. If I get some enjoyment out of the multiplayer all the better.
