Poor reviews? Who's been reviewing and scoring the beta? I still don't get sites that are judging this beta as if it is the final product. Halo 5 improved in almost every area after it's beta. There is no reason to assume Gears 4 won't.
Lastly calling out weapon balancing as an issues? That's why you have a beta!!! It will be adjusted for launch.
Faceplates and the core? Had to dig deep there. And launch day stock shortages? Gonna hold that against the Wii as well? RROD and the live outage are real issues. The HD DVD didn't really hurt anyone. It was an option but honestly as a consumer I would never pick a side in the middle of a format war.
So Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break, Ori and The Blind Forest, Project Spark these were all safe standard fps to you? Looking ahead ReCore, Scalebound, Halo Wars 2(rts is dead on console), Cuphead...theses are all recycled to you? You also lost all credibility saying Knack was better than any xone exclusive game.
Phil also said that cross play with PC would be clear and players would be able to choose playing against just other Xbox players or against PC players. If an Xbox player wants to go up against PC player armed only with a controller then surely that's their choice? What's wrong with giving the option?

I could generalise and say a lot of people enjoyed the TV portions. You can't be certain because you are not everybody.

You literally have the video above cutting between the two games showing now sizeable difference in "quality" between the two. We'll ignore the 1080p vs 900p comments.
You also have two very different art styles at play which speak to people differently in terms of what they consider "quality"
Did you have the same reaction to the Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta that had frame rate drops?

People need to stop judging games in development.
This game isn't even out yet.
This gameplay can change and improve based on the community feedback just like Halo 5 did.
The Coalition were wise not to launch this beta in December 2015 when games like Star Wars Battlefront and Black Ops 3 were dominating game time.
6 months is a good amount considering others having their betas mere weeks before launch when nothing signif...

What I want from a review is a game given a fair chance by someone who appreciates that type of game. That's why most outlets get their resident souls fan to review Dark souls/Bloodborne etc.
He's not a sceptic. He states he clearly doesn't like these kind of story driven games. A sceptic for example would be so one who's liked story driven games but isn't sold on the live action or enjoyed Max Payne but found Alan wake too slow. He probably hates critical...
Read if you want to listen to someone who clearly had no interest in playing this game. It's the equilivant of having someone who doesn't enjoy dark souls reviewing dark souls.

I read nothing in that review that justifies calling the game broken.
In the uk if you're under 18 you get Kameo, if you're over 18 you get American Nightmare.

I could really see Phil showing Mass Effect 2 or 3 at E3, considering Mass Effect 1 was the first game they showed last year. Would tie into Mass Effect andromeda well.
