If you bother to read, the gameplay is actually solid. It says it right there, in the description. Used to be that N4G users wouldn't click on the article but read the description. NOW they just zoom straight to comments.
Certainly a divisive game judging by these early reviews. I like No Man's Sky so I'm always up for giving a game a go on it's own merits.
What about such a basic feature as changing your PSN name...?
Not really 4K though is it...
That faux K
No thery're not. The OP from the video got confused talking about a 6gb patch. That was actually the game.
Same thing happened with quantum break and the 720p resolution. It actually uses a very similar technique for 1080p that ps4 pro is using to hit 4K. But the damage had been done. That was Eurogamer though, this is just a small site.
Timing?
Because PS4 Pro and Slim won't be coming with one lol. Sorry dude, you left yourself wide open there. People are upset because they WANTED 4K Blu Ray with their neo/pro.
Backward compatibility
Cross platform gaming
Xbox Play Anywhere
4K Blu Ray Drive
To name a few.
EDIT: That's not to say these were ground breaking or "look at me, first!" More that they are giving consumers good benefits and options.
I guess we'll see won't we
Non native 4K on a 60 inch screen!?
Read the article before you start spouting BS. Sony is the one behind this.
Favouritism has got nothing to do with it. Sony is responsible for this. Plain and simple.
Except it wasn't native 4k. Confirmed by Bioware after the keynote.
Cool, looking forward to Mass Effect HDR on my Xbox One S.
And what has PS4 had other than Uncharted 4 and Bloodborne? Every other PS4 exclusive hasn't lived up to the expectations. PS4 sold well because it had a cheaper price point than it's main competitor and it was more powerful. You had websites telling consumers to buy PS4 for these reasons. The average gamer would walk into a store and ask the assistant which one of the boxes plays COD/Madden/GTA/FIFA better?
Why? It looked great on OG PS4 before. And now HDR is coming to OG PS4 so what reason is there for me to upgrade to Pro when it doesn't do native 4k?
Only because this will get buried. Its the way N4G works. Only the most commented stuff rises to the top. Good reviews for this game are not going to get attention from the community around here, only average or poor ones. Frankly I'm surprised this review got approved so quickly on here.
