Only in ME 3. 1 and 2 had paragon, neutral and renegade options with dialogue that reflected the different tones. ME3 simplified this to just paragon and renegade but watered done the tone of dialogue so renegade wasn't even that ruthless and sometimes actually sounded like paragon.

It's easy to cherry pick the games that didn't make it but let's not forget they still launched Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2, Halo 5, Halo Masterchief Collection (the mess it was at launch) Gears of War 4, Ori and the Blind Forest and likely Crackdown from that E3. Tomb Raider was at that E3 as well I think.
Replaying Mass Effect 3 straight after beating 2 and I can instantly feel the lurch away from RPG. There is so little control over the dialogue in ME3 compared to 1 and 2 that I feel like I'm playing Space Uncharted or Tomb Raider.
I want to believe that Bioware has listened and Andromeda will be closer to 1 and 2.

How long can that hype last though? It is easily 2-3 years away. TLOU 2 trailer was a reaction to xboxes rescent resurgence. Sony have thrown everything at them.
As interactive experiences, no you can't. But film by its nature others a different kind of experience that games currently don't offer. I prefer Kojima's belief that film and games will merge into a new medium rather than one superseding the other.
