No one is interested in RUSE besides me? Wow.
I believe that fans of the Battlefield series like me, will really like MAG. I recently read a developer interview in GamePro concerning MAG and it sounds very promising and the gfx for a game of this scale is nothing to balk at.
The Devs basically said that people who just try to do it all by themselves will not get rewarded or move up unless they work as a team obeying their orders given by their platoon leaders and OIC's (Officer In Charge). Excellent this will be right up my alley. ...
I have been thinking about how awesome RISK would be to play after I downloaded Panzer general Allied Assault recently and boom here it is!
Awesome, I can't wait, and online play is a must. I hope its not watered down though.
Anyone remember Castle Risk?
I'm 27 and I have found plenty of older gamers like me on there, it also depends on what game you are playing too! Even still theres always private chat or party chat to eliminate that. Putting up with screaming 12 year olds hasnt been a problem for awhile. Although I would probably rather deal with that than absolute silence on PSN.
This particular review isn't very detailed whatsoever but I'll be buying the game regardless of reviews anyways. As far as the accusation of a weak story goes... well Mass Effect 1 didn't have the most original main storyline either but your crew members and NPCs you met gave the story a much fuller, rounded feeling which gave the journey legs to stand on. This is what seems to be the situation here except even more elaborated upon which equates to a deeper story altogether if you choose to ...
I have both and have experienced both. Sure having to pay for XBL sucks, but I would rather pay and play on XBL than not and play on PSN. I like that nearly everyone has a headset, its probably somewhere around 75% of XBL users have a mic of which its always a joy to meet someone and talk to them about games and such and in the process make new friends. XBL is seamlessly integrated that I don't even need to think about it.
PSN's potential is there and they have some things like d...
Because me name is Travis and I am ravenous for some great gaming, in which case ravenous means very hungry so Trav +enous... Travenous and my age 26 except now I am 27 lol
My favorite magazine and I cant wait for it to come back! I just loved their creative writing... how they could get funny about something but still keep an overall serious tone.
Pshht, I could care less about the load times, Bioware has said that they have been reworked. Even still if there are lengthy spots of load times, if there is anyone losing sleep over load times concerning this game, they are crazy.
Unlike ME1, Mass Effect 2 is using a modified version of Unreal Engine 3.
And, how will that make Halo: Reach not a good game?
I believe that fans of the Halo series will focus on, as my name implies: Gameplay. It doesnt matter what X and Y are capable of, all that matters is that X and Y deliver great gaming experiences. Halo will never be like KZ and KZ will never be like Halo... so why the comparisons?
I do believe that Halo will be more colorful, and have better art direction than KZII's dark, gritty, and gray world.
I love Macs because of the Mac OS and iLife is a great pre-installed software package that doesn't come with Windows anything or on any PC. Apple adds a personal touch to their computers and its just a joyful experience. Everything isn't all rosy as I can say I have had problems here and there but managed to figure them out on my own.
Using a PC running Windows now for me would be a headache, even though I wouldn't mind getting a great gaming PC to play titles like Sins of a Solar Empi...
Who cares really... It will look better than Halo 3 and thats enough. I am sure it will be more colorful than KZII was but then again that is Killzone II and this is Halo, two completely different themes.
I am in the same boat as you, I read up and anticipated Mass Effect's release and it didn't disappoint and I cannot wait for Mass effect 2 but I'm trying not to read up on everything as much as I did with the first one because I want to make it feel as fresh as possible when I begin playing, I want to be surprised.
Hmmmmm YUMMY!
Mass Effect was the reason I first got an Xbox 360 and I've played thru it 3-5 times, I'm progressing thru another playthrough now before Mass effect 2's release... January is drawing ever so closer... I can't wait. ME2 will start off 2010's wonderful gaming bonanza with a BIG BANG!
Even if it still had some of the technical issues of the last game I'd still buy it right away. However, I know Bioware has been working hard on this 2nd installment in the planned trilogy and they do...
And no I'm not too keen on getting into an argument over this miniscule issue either. Happy Gaming! exclusive be damned! lol
This isn't really my type of game but I did like it, the gfx are okay but the effects of moves and such is well done and the environments is a strong point...the after-demo trailer looked great and intriguing 'Go To Hell' hahah that cracked me up! The art direction really stood out to me as it will definitely be one of the high points of this title when venturing thru the 9 circles of Hell, there will be a lot of sights to take in no doubt. Even my 55yr old dad enjoyed the demo! He was more i...
So why does no one, come out with a PC title and say its 'exclusive to PC'? Because... the PC as far as gaming is concerned has no competition while the consoles do.
Sure L4D2 can be played on a PC yet it only being available for one console, like the 360, makes it a console exclusive. That makes perfect sense to me because the PC stands alone while you can actually call it an exclusive to 360 because its not available on the other two consoles.
In my mind the PC is a seperate en...
This will make for some chaotic grisly fun! mwhahaaha!
