The economy has played a big role, and it has still not recovered. With the exception of Wii 2, the 360 still has a good three years left in it, and the PS3 probably 5 years. Sure, games are looking great now but with exception of the PS3 who may be topping out at Crysis 2, but then again we've heard that before with Killzone II, and Uncharted 2 and the PS3 just keeps on exceeding expectations so I highly doubt Crysis 2 will tap every bit of sap from the PS3's power. The 360, on the other han...
I'd like to see Natal succeed. C'mon, console wars aside, this device has great possibilities! Sure, its like an evolution from its cousin, the Eyetoy, yet lets face it, the Eyetoy went nowhere really. It was just never fully realized matching gaming possibilities with the Eyetoy, which is a shame. Hopefully Natal can pick up the torch and run with it giving we gamers new hardcore experiences. I am hopeful that the crackheads at MS can get all these technical concerns resolved.

These are EA's online servers we are talking about here, not Xbox Live's servers.
I lost my stats this morning but after I deleted the game install off my HDD and reinstalled and rebooted, my stats re-appeared whew, I was pissed at first.
Then earlier today I got back on and started playing a game and everything went out and I couldnt connect to EA severs anymore. On the title screen there is a ticker of all the latest news concerning BFBC2 and it stated that they were hav...
I believe that the most important thing is that 360 users will be able to play FFXIII as well as PS3 owners, despite them having the lesser version GFX wise, the gameplay is fully intact.
I will be getting the PS3 version since I own both, that is if I even care enough to get it. I am there are some 360-only owners that feel a lesser graphical version of FFXIII is a hell of a lot better than no FFXIII at all.
Perhaps it was cut from the full game because of space concerns, ya know the DVD format can only hold so much. I must say though... at least it wasn't cut and forgotten about. Its being made available as FREE DLC a month after release. Perhaps Bioware figured that they had already given enough content in the game for gamers to chew on, and just as fans started getting hungry again, they release THE HAMMERHEAD FIREWALKER MISSION PACK Yahoo! I say. Keep the goodies coming Bioware! Its all food ...
DICE is just too funny, they are great!
Yep, media reviews just serve as a guideline for me, not a set in stone verdict.
Not an issue if the game is installed and most if not everyone installs the games they will be playing for awhile anyways. No problem.
I just watched the review and wow is all I can say, utter crap that they didn't give it a higher score than 8.9 which is still great but I cannot help but think there was something else at play here in this review. Basically he was butthurt over the fact that Battlefield destroys MW2 in a lot of areas so he decided to make up some off-the-wall negatives like missed epic feeling and brief campaign wha?!??! with postives of Great Multiplayer, VISUAL TREAT, and a Solid Campaign, and for audio he...
Sure hardware problems notwithstanding, even though I believe such problems have decreased significantly with recent hardware revisions. MS keeps Sony in check and visa versa. Its a great amalgamation of accountability for that o so precious dollar, especially in these economic times.
In terms of consoles, the fact that the Xbox 360 gets a lot of PC ports and such is a huge plus for me.
All in all the Xbox 360 is doing leagues better than the original Xbox did and t...
I agree F gamestop, I never trade in any of my games, you just end up losing bigtime. Buy a game at $60 trade it in and get like $15 store credit = retarded, well it seems that they rope in a lot of suckers, I'm for one am not fooled by their crap.
I haven't touched a single COD game, but I already know that I am stickin with DICE.
Mass Effect 2 justified my day one purchase, its an amazing game dripping with quality, sorry you can't see it. No multiplayer? and crap cover system? Its a bioware game get a clue, Hmmm I wonder if FFXIII will have multiplayer durrrrrr... Single-player driven games are great, Mass Effect 2 has no need for a multiplayer component. The cover system is fine and it works fine. Seriously, this game doesn't need to be 'hyped', it stands upright on its own and is worthy of all the praise it has re...
I dont have an iPhone, iPod anything or a netbook so this looks really good to me, especially at a starting price of $499. I would love to surf the net on this! and watch movies and whatever on long trips and such, sweet.
Wow you guys take these review 'scores' way too seriously right into downright stupidity.
This is definitely his speed, and he's 50. Meanwhile I am 27 and as soon I saw this I got flashbacks of Indigo Prophecy, great game for its engaging, deep storyline and diverging paths. However, I had hoped that they would have taken a new approach to the QTE's, even still I agree games like this take a while to get going, I have no doubt that it will be an experience that grows on you over time.
Young folks from 8 - 18 won't understand it or get bored really fast because they'l...
There is an Apple media event on Jan 27th.
