"I guess that put's an end to all the Kinect only offers rail games theory"
Don’t rush; it may in fact be an on-rails game, just look at the Wii version of Transformers WFS.
No shirt no shoes no Kinection
Respect is quid pro quo
Activations new publicity guy got straight to work
@BX81
Problem is a sequel isn’t likely; at least the first game should be complete so we aren't left hanging if there is no success, shows like Flashback Jericho and Carnival broke my heart after getting canceled, don’t want the same trend in games.
@mrv321
That’s actually a great story, but you spoiled the ending.
If Wada wanted to "Experiment" he should have done that with spinoffs not core tittles.
Many may not know but Front Mission is another victim of his oddball ideas.
I backed away from getting the game after I read it had a cliffhanger ending, I just can't handle indefinite suspense, I will get it if they bring closure with the DLC.
But if they make money from Kinect, they will spend more money on Kinect
"Gears/Halo/Forza/Fable are still being made"
That’s the problem, where is the new stuff? Why abandon games like Lost Odyssey and Kemeko? Why just commission third party studios and not develop your own?
Because they spent most of the money that thing.
Tim Schafer on Bobby Kotick: He could go to an industry that makes more money. Ball bearings... Something that suits his passions more. Weapons manufacturing?
Twisted Metal, Tekken and Loaded were some of the first games to make the PS1 stand out and step out of Sega and Nintendo's shadow, I and my brother where blown away by the mature stuff and hardly got out of our room, can't believe we will get to play it once more but this time from our different homes.
To my untrained eye it looks that the CryEngine has better draw distance and lighting effects than the Unreal engine.
Q: did anyone do a comparison between them?
PC is open ended; consoles have set hardware, if we want to be fair let's compare with graphics cards.
Doesn’t Kinect lock up 20-30% of the 360's power? would they do that to hardcore games just to feature the device?
i vote for the CryEngine
Because of all the fanboyism, the "I'm too cool for this game", the "I will be grilled if I give a bad score" and the advertising pressure it's hard to find an honest review nowadays.
Best to get your RPG reviews from RPG sites like RPGamer or RPGFan, they know what to look for in this genre.
It’s the true spiritual sequel to FF, you can find that in the magic, the battle style, the accessories, the camera viewpoints, secret bosses, side quests, power leveling spots, airships, and let's not forget moggeles.
Loved the clothes myself, wish Microsoft committed and made this a franchise
It would have been fantastic if they made it in the game play style of Valkuria Chronicle, in my opinion the true step forward for strategy RPGs.
