You're welcome Xbox fans, we just saved your system from being completely annihilated.

@JOY - I agree with the usage convenience, but personally I thin the cons outweigh the pros, and feel like people shouldn't buy an XBone, especially at launch, just out of principle, because accepting some of the measures MS has put in place now, will lead to a world of hurt in the following generations.

@sono - He means the fact that you can install and run games, without having to swap discs. It is a good thing that, but you can do the same with digital downloads, if o...

"If PS4 has a higher install base than the Xbox, developers won't be able to ignore it."

Give the man a round of applause! Although, I would argue that having an equal install base would be more than enough.

I forgot about this, i wonder what will happen with this. Maybe the fact that you can technically sell it once, albeit with restrictions may be the annoying workaround for Microsoft.

What do you think the likelihood that Microsoft sent out an internal memo to its employees too pre-order the console on Amazon? It doesn't cost any money to do it.

Wars are made up of small battles, so if Sony won the war, then who cares about the E3 battle?

@Sitdown - The next Halo's release date isn't even confirmed, and is probably late 2014 at the EARLIEST. So why would you buy an Xbox One this year? You might as well wait until Halo actually comes out and you will most likely get the console A LOT cheaper.

Sorry if that is too logical, or makes too much sense.

IMO, the only reason to buy it is if you're a fan of Halo, or want Titanfall. However neither of these games are out this year, Halo release date isn't confirmed and Titanfall is late 2014, and available on PC and 360, so why would you buy an Xbox One THIS year? You might as well wait and pressure MS into removing some of their stupid DRM policies and reducing price.

@iron_spider - The RAM may play a big part this gen because Sony is allowing debs to play with 2GB more than MS. Secondly, Enemy can comment however and whenever he likes. I particularly hate it when people say they can't do this or that, when it is not against the rules and is ON TOPIC.

Looks like they are rushing to the market once again, and the console isn't fully tested.

RED RING 2.0 looks to be on the cards me thinks.

@nukeitall & BallsEye - MS has confirmed NEITHER scenario, and the link you provided doesn't prove or disprove anything.

"Give your family access to your entire games library anytime, anywhere: Xbox One will enable new forms of access for families. Up to ten members of your family can log in and play from your shared games library on any Xbox One. Just like today, a family member can play your copy of Forza Motorsport at a friend’s house. Only now, they will see ...

@BLAKHOODe - Was confirmed very recently that your family members can be literally anyone. So this is likely to be abused similar to the PS3 game sharing system, and not only will it be abused, but the MS execs were promoting it. Yusuf Mehdi and Phil Spencer both confirmed it.

HOWEVER:

1. Only one person can play the game at a time, and it is very likely that if the account logs in on the main console, it will kick everyone else out.

2. This ...

What's more important is, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas are has-beens, they haven't made a good movie in years.

@wikkid666 - DRM affects every gamer, because internet is required, and internet fails ALL THE TIME.

1. Xbone does NOT allow you to lend games to people at launch, and who knows how long it will take for them to implement ANY kind of game lending. It definitely won't be as simple as it is on current gen or Wii U/PS4, simply because it could be abused in the eyes of MS.

2. Xbone games cannot be sold, ONLY traded in to "selected" retailers. Meanin...

I would guess that we'll see TitanFall on PS4 after 6 months of the Xbone launch.

They must have some chronic weed over there at Nintendo if they believe that.

The only thing that looks like it might be good on the WIi U is Project X, or X I think it is called now. The reason for that is that it is a new IP, and I cannot stand the fact that Nintendo keep milking teir tired ass IPs.

Mario, Mario, Mario, Donkey Kong, Kirby, blah blah blah.

They need to grow up and realise that some people don't give a shit about nostalgia, especially new gamers, and those that have been with Sony/MS consoles. The only IP that is g...

@mikeslemonade - That's because Sony is known for supporting their systems, as shown by the PS2, they were ahead by MILES, and they continued to innovate with new IP even late into the generation. You can't say the same about MS, because they gave up on the Xbox 1 very quickly, and with the Xbox 360, there have been hardly any core games for the past three years. Xbone will have a strong start, but history has proven that they cannot be trusted to support the platform for a long perio...

@Death - Nobody wants a purely offline or online system, people want CHOICE. This systems takes choice out of the equation, which means if your internet goes down, or XBL servers go down, or your network hardware gets damaged at some point for more than 24 hours, you are basically left without a gaming system.

MS is basically pushing their consumers towards PS4. They are basically saying, "You can buy a PS4 for the times when the internet is off", which is the stupi...
