@1.4 - Very true, but Quantic Dream have their own mo-cap studio, in fact they mainly are a motion capture studio. So I'm sure their tech is better than Sony's.
Yeah Sucker Punch is second party, Quantic Dream is more like 3rd party, unless they decide to make Sony exclusives for a long time, because they made multiplats last gen.
Hyped for this, even though I played both games to completion years ago. Still looks really good though, better than some next-gen games
Yeah it's got good production values, but it's just not my personal preference. Everyone's got an opinion, I prefer MGS from Kojima.
@1.3 - Actually not too crowded according to your list. None of those games conflicts with each other (in terms of genre), and personally I'm wanting only ME2, because MAG wasn't my type of game tbh (from the beta).
Nice, a lot earlier than I expected, also don't think January is too crowded, so should be good for sales.
I know many people love ZOE, but I am one of the people who don't find it to be a great game. It is however, the only game that is mech-based, that I actually finished. I wouldn't mind a sequel though, would be nice to see how much it improves.

@Tony P - Think about how possibly awesome any game could be. You got that in your mind? Now multiply by 1000, and it is what Uncharted 2 is like. You're friend will be singing it's praises when he gets the game.

Yeah, I understand, I'm also a huge MGS fanboy, but I liked Splinter Cell because it's stealth was more in depth. Also the fact that you could jump between narrow corridors etc. was awesome. But as I said before, if you are a stealth fan, Thief is the BEST, which is why I also can't wait until Thief 4 AKA Thi4f (wtf?)
I've been thinking this too, since they showed the E3 trailer. Splinter Cell is good because of the focus on stealth (which imo was much better than MGS, but not as good as Thief), it seems like they are straying too far from the formula that made SC great.
Love this game, I wanted inFAMOUS to win GOTY before, but now it seems like Uncharted 2 will win it hands down. The only competition now is Modern Warfare 2.

Also worth noting that this is first day sales, not first week sales, so it could end up being a lot more, although 70% of the shipment was sold, so probably not much more this week.
Multiplayer is fantastic, easily one of the best I've played. I don't judge multiplayer by speed or whatever, but on whether I'll be putting lots of hours into it, and I'm already wanting to do that with Uncharted 2.
I think it freezes at the same spot for everyone. Happened to me in either level 25 or 26, all I remember was that I was running up some steps and it froze. Switched the PS3 off and reloaded and it worked fine.
Not a huge problem, but a little annoying.
