@1.8 - If you can't have a normal debate, and resort to cursing people out, I really don't care about your opinion. I find it funny that people by into this hype of EITHER motion controller, when we all know that the main reason behind them is to appeal to casual gamers. Natal especially is designed for casual gamers in mind rather than core gamers. All those that have owned/do own an EyeToy/PSEye know this already, and while Natal is a lot more advanced in terms of tech than either system, w...
Well this article is true, there isn't much QTE in this game, in fact when I was playing, I actually thought it needed more QTE. Why? Because QTE allows you to become part of the cutscenes, unlike just sitting there and watching them. For example, when you have to catch Tenzin or Elena, I would have liked a little QTE sequence there.
The ONLY true QTE sequences in the game are when you are fighting and have to press triangle to counter an attack at the right time. Every other bit...
5th place for Uncharted 2, pretty good for a western game. Pokemon still going strong, unsurprisingly.
@1.5 - Well there's no point talking about Natal is there? Unless they can show everyone how they can make a game that is non-casual on it, it's useless to me as a core gamer.
@1.2 - Exactly. What do you expect them to say?
Not really long enough imo. It's meant to be an RPG, and RPGs should be atleast 40 hours when you do everything. I was disappointed when I finished Mass Effect in 24 hours, whilst doing every possible mission (and I wasn't rushing). But Fallout 3 was mega-long, loved it, was hoping Borderlands would be the same :(
I'm guessing it will be censored in Germany and Australia, seen as everything seems to get banned there.
@z - There's no point arguing with him, he always has and always will be a fanboy.
But it's on PSP as well, which makes it NOT exclusive. Maybe if they wrote Sony exclusive it would make sense.
@mintaro - Whilst ME is a good game, and I did enjoy, it is not the best RPG this gen. No way. The best WRPG is easily Fallout 3, and the best JRPG is either Tales of Vesperia or Lost Odyssey. I'd include VC there, but it's not really a traditional RPG.
Just a tech demo according to the steambot blog, but they made it with Bluepoint (blast factor devs, and also I think the guys who are porting GOW collection), so it could probably be made. Graphics look decent, character model looks more detailed than anything else (except for his hair). The trailer for the book actually looks good though, so a game may be worthy of a look.
I don't see why people hype Alan Wake as looking amazing. When it was shown in 2005, it looked really good for the time. But now it looks dated, and really doesn't look as good as Uncharted 2. The game may be good in terms of gameplay and style, but graphically it does not look as good as Uncharted 2.
@1.2 - A lot faster according to the article. But from what I've seen, the 1GBps is a sum of both upload and download speed, so it might be 500mbps up and down. Still really good speed, although you don't really need more than 100mbps.
Most online electrical retailers stock them. Amazon would be a good place.
bu bu bu...but paying for the service makes it better! Lol. You know that argument's coming.
Funniest glitch I had was, the bit where you have to shoot the cars to get across the water. I jumped over the wall to get to the top of the stairs instead of going up the stairs, and got stuck in the floor. Lol, I actually recorded it because it was so weird.
Finally, been waiting ages, already love this game. But I'm a little worried because Jack didn't include it in his "fiscal year" speech on PSBlog, so it may be coming later than we thought (which was march)
Gran Turismo Collection Confirmed?!
lol
Who hasn't? One of the best games ever made!
This game looks like your average, nobody cares about it, shooter. Namco, do not publish this, it will sell like sh*t.
