Madworld had enough hype to have sold at least more than the Wii version if it was released on either PS3 or 360. I guarantee, if it came out on either console, it would have sold more than it did on Wii.
@1.11 - Please show me a link where it says the PS3 is hacked and can play backup games on a standard PS3.
If you are talking about the Belzar hack, that was fake. Sony learned from their mistakes on PSP, PS1, PS2. PS3 is almost unhackable, it'll probably get hacked 9 years into the systems lifecycle, when it doesn't matter any more.
Is it just me or does nobody care about this game any more? I have like ZERO hype for it, and the first one was a really great game.

I seriously doubt KZ3 will be coming in 2010, it may be announced in 2010 though. The holiday season is open for Resistance 3, and early 2010 we have way too many games. If it is coming, it will release around February 2011. That gives the 2 full years of development, and they can release a completely polished game.
I didn't have any problems with KZ2 controls, but then again I'm not a COD4 noob. Plus they did add the option later for the crying COD fanboys.
Luckily Pachter's almost never right, so Xbox gamers can take a sigh of relief.
Resistance 1 had much much better online that R2, because it made more sense. In R2, the chimera and Humans were exactly the same, they could use any perk they wanted, it ruined the uniqueness of Resistance. Just go back to R1 online.
It's mind boggling that fanboys can continue to deny PS3's obvious technical superiority even when games like Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2, are better than anything else out.
@1.18 - Have YOU seen any of those games???? They are not even released yet, and you have only seen trailers. There is a big difference between trailers and the actual game.

@Tinted Eyes - Expect a lot of sales for GT5 in Europe, but not as much in America. The simulation genre has always been more popular in Europe than any other continent.
@callahan - I think the review was just being overly critical (as you can see what he says in the first paragraph). But still the score is good, showing that despite a few minor flaws, this game is close to perfect.
Yeah man, people still seem to think that this is your average over hyped game. It's not. This is so much better than every game out on console now, in every way.
Really nice, in depth review. Exactly how I would explain the game, it is definitely the best game released this gen, and that's an understatement.

@beavis - Yeah I 100% agree. Before I had a Wii I'd always say, "R&C is good, but the best platformer looks like SMG, from the videos I'd seen". Then I got a Wii and you cannot play SMG for more than 20 mins without getting a headache. Everything about it is wrong, the camera, the controls, the sound, the gobbledygook talking. It's really like playing a last gen game in every way.

I don't necessarily see independence as a problem, in fact it is probably a good thing. If Sony bought all the devs, and started losing money, the first thing they'd have to do is get rid of one of the development studios (like MS got rid of Aces and Ensemble).
At least if they are independent and get into trouble, then Sony can always buy them up. If they stay making exclusive games and making enough money, then again good for Sony.
Great read. Insomniac title's really should be marketed more by Sony, they are great developers and I can't wait for R&C 2.
This is a rumor, I expect a PSP2 to be announced at E3 2011, released somewhere near holiday 2011. Hopefully the later release will allow it to be cheaper to produce, as well as have an OLED screen.

Also @ people defending GTA4, you don't even know what a good game is. I got GTA4 on 360, but I didn't buy Lost and Damned, because the main game was bad. The only decent thing was the opening cinematic, and I'm biased because I don't like GTA games, but the best one I played was GTA: San Andreas (because I actually tolerated it enough to finish most of the game). It's a good list, but when you consider that the PS3 list was till March 2010, and this list is for the whole of 2010, then it is not so good.
Still looking forward to a lot of the games on the list, apart from Fable 3, boring imo.
I'm probably getting it for my nephew. Also I want to support the devs.
If there are STILL people that are thinking this game is not worth buying. Just understand that we aren't saying Uncharted 2 is only good because of it's graphics, EVERY PART OF IT is better than any other game available, not just graphics.
