Never had problems with battery in DS4, and I have 4 of them. DualSense should last longer according to latest rumours.
But this is conversation is all about Sony.
I can imagine Sony want players to have full experience - with haptics and adaptive triggers. But, I can imagine, if Sony really wants this, they can check you started game with at least one Dual Sense connected. I have 4 DS4 controllers and it would be great, if I can use some of them for couch coop games and dont need to buy 2-3 DualSense controllers more with console.
Microsoft has solid strategy now backed by lot of money. But in the future, it can be profitable. They are not two step ahead of anyone. PS Now is here long time. Sony didnt push it so hard, but they have the tech and they have the money. They simply believe in console hardware more.
But Microsoft hadnt other way. They couldnt go same way like Sony another gen. So what they made is great, but not two steps ahead :-).
That probably means better assetts. Thats another "Decima" game on PC. Death stranding looked like pretty well optimalized for PC. I hope HZD will be also.
Thats really great. And if some of games will run better, its also best bc we aver got from Sony. Not a dealbreaker for me, if there is no BC, but it was inevitable due to PSVR. One thing is to buy new console. Other is to buy new PSVR and new PSVR games. VR library grows much slower than nonVR. I thank Sony, they made sw and hw compatibility.
It makes sense. Same reason Sony making PS5 exclusives PS5 only and not for PS4. They put everything into it. Its a pitty, that for couch coop I cant use some of the old controllers. But anyway....they are really old and worn out :-)
I understand. And thats the reason, I left gamepass. I curate games I want to play because I dont have infinite time to play all games on gamepass. So I buy a game and play it usually few months or half year. Thing is, I have few games, which I play at the moment and I play the game I have apetite for. Not because its in gamepass. But its the tax for having relatively cheap subscription. It has its place. For me it hasn any value. But I understand, that for many people it has.
For me, I would mark PSVR as a sidestep gen. Its own platform and Im very glad Sony did it. And they did it right. I would already buy a PC VR headset if there is no PSVR. Its these little things like not great but greatest games, psvr, nice and sleak ui that made me stay with ps4 whole gen and made me decide to buy ps5. I simply liked Sony decisions this gen.
And if may I choice between BC or VR features that distincts the brands, I would always choose VR.
So basically, theres really no xbox in the future. Theres pc games, subscribtion and cloud gaming. When MS allows to allow full office suite on XSX, it will be great optimalized pc for gaming and work. Then finally XSX will have its place and my desktop PC will be obsolete.
I still think that in one point MS says, its xsx is compatible with WMR headsets.
Oculus/Rift would be topping.
When I finished HZD, I was convinced, that no sequel / prequel can trumph original story. Im still curious, if this can beat HZD simply for story. Graphics look fantastic here. Cant wait for DS and 3Daudio !

PS5 is very good start for new owners of PS. They will get vast library of PS4 exclusives and in the future growing library of PS5 games. This make sense even more then last gen, because jump from ps3 to ps4 was big, but jump (in terms of graphical fidelity) will not be so huge. Some of PS4 games look absolutely gorgeous and are also in 4K. I personaly plan to play GoT on PS5, because now Im playing Death Stranding. And for those, who hate GTA V promo on ps5 - Im looking forward to finish mai...
They lost this gen so they pretend gens are not needed anymore. I dont think they are going wrong way. But definitely new gen machine untied with its predecessors is much more appealing to me.
It doesnt matter if someone calls it war. They are business companies and they will always try to win. Microsoft simply applied different strategy because they couldnt be on par with similar strategy as Sony has.

I think so much people trying to put PS5 into RDNA1 or RDNA2 basket. But they cant. Its chip is evolution of RDNA1 chip into new gen with many features, that AMD used in RDNA2. I believe some features will not be present in RDNA2 that are in PS5 chip. So it is simply different branch of evolution of RDNA1. It is not RDNA2 branch, its PS5 branch. Sony put into it custom features for their needs. Why would they want to put shelf like RDNA2 into PS5 if they can build custom one with AMD? This is...
I agree that for others players in multiplayer they could permit DS4 on DS5 games. That would be nice.
