Wow he speaks...Alot more introvert than Jack Tretton...Good to see him comment on the state of VR in gaming.
“We have to concentrate on delivering this VR experience in a meaningful and attractive way in the gaming world first. his mindset is in the right place.
Logic Wins.
And online FPS multiplayer isn't competitive?
@susanto1228
"The tech market is all about emulation".
Stopped reading there. I guess that's why Microsoft's Zune killed iPod...And the Surface killed the iPad. Oh wait!
It's all about introducing the right thing at the right time.
That's why Bill Gate's tablet PC failed in 2002 and Steve Job's "tablet" succeeded in 2010.
Read the article but here is what I really don't get about this game in regards to the comment section.
Infamous: SS Metacritic = 80 "So mediocre, where's the killer Sony exclusives?"
Sunset Overdrive Metacritic = 82 "Yes! Phil Spencer and Microsoft Studios does it again!"
Seems a bit lopsided.
Cheating in an online FPS? http://www.reactiongifs.com...
@andibandit
That's your subjective opinion.
Sony got complacent and allowed its Korean doppelganger to become a huge entity just like Sony once was.
Balloons can only get so big before they pop or need to be deflated.
The same will be true with Samsung who also has to compete with Chinese competition who can reverse engineer tech faster than Samsung can release Galaxy phones.
Guess you missed the part where Sony's market cap went from 17 to 24 billion USD.
Samsung has done nothing but emulate Sony. Just like Samsung emulates or steals from other competitors.
In addition, Samsung has worked with Sony on LCD ventures anyway... http://www.pcmag.com/articl...
Bungie's contractual obligation to microsoft was up.
Red Faction definitely had some great destruction as well...The GeoMod engine was beast. I don't know how EA/Dice went from BF: Bad Company 2 level destruction to totally gimped in the latest BF installments.
One sandbox game that is in need of a HD remake is Mercenaries: Playground of destruction...Totally ahead of its time as far as gameplay mechanics and destruction goes.
The PS3 was the cheapest Blu-Ray player on the market in 2006 like the PS2 was the cheapest DVD player on the market in 2000...There is a reason why the PS3 was $600 to begin with.
You shouldn't use it as an example compared to Xbox One.
Wow a disagree over facts...

@Svinya
I think he meant that even the PS2 couldn't emulate Model 2 correctly despite it being more powerful. Model 2 was ahead of its time in 1994.
This system is underrated and was capable of alot more than given credit for.
The AM2 conversion of VF2 actually ran at a higher resolution on the Saturn at 704x480 than the Model 2 counterpart despite not having 3D backgrounds.

"You are trying too hard! Let's be realistic, ok?"
I'll be more than realistic...I'll show your proof ;)
"FromTheAshes, that was one of the dumbest PC rebuttal posts I've seen in a long time."
Sounds like a case of sour grapes. If you know how and where to look, you CAN build a gaming PC 400 USD or under that MATCHES or EXCEEDS the PS4's ...
@ Bishop-Brasil
Irregardless if you find it unbelievable or not. I can PM you my benchmarks. You don't need to build a "800 dollar" PC to match or exceed the PS4.
To those who disagree I will personally upload a Youtube link of my rig running Tomb Raider on Ultra 1080p with the benchmark FPS.
Maybe in Brasil you have to pay alot for a PC to match PS4 but not where I am. Sorry. I use a DVD drive in 2014 because Virtual Clone dr...
@Strawberry

@Angelic
He is simply pointing out the track record of Microsoft as gaming company and urging caution.
The moment your guard is down they may revert to their the old scheme of things concerning the Xbox One.
Give a company an inch and they will certainly try to take miles.
Um...The original Xbox 1 (2001) was conceived because Microsoft feared that the PS2 which uses a Linux based OS would cut into the monopoly that Microsoft had on its Windows OS. http://www.ign.com/articles...
@Septic
The company that is apparently "going broke" and doesn't have Microsoft money yet still managed to make a more powerful console with less funds...That company.
