The more options the better...If devs say the will support PC they should do so the right way and not half-ass it like other developers out there. I HOPE the sales reflects Konami's dedication to PC gamers

You missed the "If a collapse does happen I can see a lot of companies disappearing into oblivion." The point is getting rid of companies that don't take effort into making quality games over profit. With the amount of technology we have now compared to the 80's, there is no excuse for releasing sub-par titles that don't even look like they made it past QA tests.
The gaming industry needs to collapse again a'la Atari 1980's game crash style. This way consumers can weed out the good from the bad in terms of who delivers quality software over quantity. If a collapse does happen I can see a lot of companies disappearing into oblivion.
Reminds me of when I played Star Fox 64 for the first time and Andross's head exploded into eye balls and chattering teeth. Nightmarish.

Lol exactly I started out with only two games. Mario 64 and Pilot Wings 64. Good thing Pilot Wings had good replay value compared to SM64.
They were not cheap. I paid 69.99USD for Mario 64 when it released in 1996. Nintendo was stubborn about the use of CD-Roms but I think the N64 still had a quality selection of games despite the cartridge prices.
Using an A4 4000 with a R7 260X. I am reluctant to upgrade because if Mantle or DX12 gives an even bigger boost to the 1080p gaming I enjoy then I see no reason to get parts until at least 2016 when AMD and Intel will have their new CPU offerings.

That sucks. I am thinking of making the switch to Nvidia as well. Nvidia is winning on the performance, efficiency, and driver update front at the moment. AMD needs to be more aggressive.
