Thing is, Mantle is already doing most of what DirectX 12 claims to do in the near future.

I find it odd that it had to take AMD of all companies to get Microsoft to respond or even maybe adopt Mantle like performance with DX 12.

"DX 12 going to be released next year along with Windows 10"...Nope, nice Trojan Horse Microsoft. Good thing there's Mantle as an alternative already showing performance boost.

With all the promotions, deals, and bundles Microsoft had for North America...I am genuinely surprised at how close the PS4 sales were despite the aggressive pricing from Microsoft.

The PS2 even held and had its own weather effects at 60fps in Grand Prix Challenge. That console was a little beast in its day, along with Xbox 1 (2001).

Overreaction from gamers has been quite the norm this gen. I think the self-entitlement of today's gamers is ridiculous at times but its still no excuse from "AAA game" developers releasing half done or broken games.

Funny thing is no one is trying to justify what Sony is doing. But for you to sit here and tell me that Microsoft didn't start these cheap tactics is beyond me.

Not only that but Phil Spencer tried to hide the fact that Tomb Raider was a timed exclusive in an Eurogamer article. Explain or justify that?
