Agree...Especially an updated Blast Corps or Pilot Wings. I really want an updated Pilot Wings flight simulator on the Wii-U's hardware.

Tip of the hat to Nintendo. At least Nintendo's games aren't incomplete or ridden with glitches. From now until they make their next console, Sony and Microsoft better keep on their toes. Don't sleep on Nintendo.

Aside from Microsoft's heavy hitters (Halo, Forza, etc.), most Xbox One games come to PC anyway (Ryse, Titanfall, Dead Rising 3, Lococycle, Plants vs Zombies, etc.). So I'd say go for it if you want.

Good on Nintendo. With AMD's X86 design win I am hoping another Nintendo console is coming down the pipeline.

Let's not rush to judgement until gamers/reviewers have seen and played both Forza 6 and GT7. And by that logic you could say Forza 5 kinda "died" after being bested by GT6 by two Metacritic points.

The Last Guardian release date confirmed.

The PS4 GPU is a notch below the 7850. More comparable to the 7970m. Xbox One is a notch below the 7790.

Darn.

Looks and plays a bit like Alien Rage mixed with Dead Trigger. The zombie animations look quite stiff and repetitive as well.

Why dangle a worm for the piranhas to bite at?

OT: Congrats to both parties and I am genuinely surprised the Emmy's reach the scope of gaming. Interesting.

Add Mercenaries: Playground of destruction to that. I would love to see it remade so much.

As much as I like tech demos. The tech is hardly implemented heavily in games. I remember seeing the Unreal Engine 3 demo around 2005 thinking "Wow" but wasn't impressed with how developers used it until Mass Effect 3 and Tranformers FOC came out.

Oh gosh. Anita Saakeesian will be all over this one.

It's all about priorities and time. Sure if you want, you can spend 3 to 4 hours gaming or you can put 30 minutes of cardio in to keep healthy. It all depends on the person's drive and motivation.

@slappy508

I agree. There are definitely console exclusive games never coming to PC, and vice versa.

But if you're competent and can manage to buy and play both it's a sweet deal.

As implied with TDBtrl below me...PC gaming is definitely getting on the cheap side thanks to new API's and the nVidia vs. AMD rivalry.

But Utalkin2me took my comment as some "PC master race" flamebait and insulted my "man...

@Utalkin2me

You seemed touched by my comment. I won't get into an online pissing contest with strangers.

The fact that you replied to a real generalization about PC gaming and gamers goes to show you (A) can't afford PC gaming or (B) are not competent enough to be a PC gamer.

Either way...Start the new year off by not subliminally insulting strangers on the internet.

P.S.

The initial cost of PC gaming...

Cool to see studios experiment with other graphics engines to get a feel for the feature set or even improve their own considering DICE has Frostbite.

But...But..But...Consoles are cheaper than PC gaming...You have to spend $5000 to get the equivalent performance of PS4! /SARCASM

@nowitzki2004

PS2 released a whole year prior to the original Xbox.

PS4 and Xbox One released within weeks of one another.

The whole "PS2 was weaker...but" argument shouldn't apply in that case.
