I am also glad they took the timer out, that was the only part of Dead rising that annoyed me.

Ryse is the only game i dont know a whole lot about yet, which is why i am considering it.
In theory, because GDDR5, while faster has less good timings then DDr3.
Gddr5 is nothing more then DDr3 with a cranked up bandwith, causing the timings to be worse.
The result is that the XB1 might have the upperhand in parts that have a lot of physics and AI, while the PS4 has the upper hand in area's with low AI and physics.

Each to his/her own, but my Xb1 is already payed for with three games, and i am considering to get Ryse as well.

You seriously dont believe that if you have Ps plus that you get to play all games on gaikai for free do you...
Ofcourse they will charge for gaikai, why would they give you tons of games for free for the price of ps plus... that would be financial suicide.
Only demos are free on gaikai.
Besides, cloud features used in game, such as in forza can be used without gold, the gold is for multiplayer.
Win8 is fine. it runs very well, vista was rushed.
The only difference is that gakai is a streaming sevice, while azure is an integrated service that can be used in any form of application, instead of only streaming a game in a videofeed.
On top of that, cloud features do not require an additional subscription, Gaikai does.

You pretty much summed up what i typed, but you used more technical terms, i tried to explain it in a more simple way so that more people could understand it.
And multiple threaded applications also suffer from it, it doesntm atter if you have 1 data stream or 8, if they stumble over a large flow of small data, it would still slow the memory down a lot.
