Hardly a bad thing, to rely on games, when it comes to gaming.
They did say they wanted to make a full rpg out of crimson skies, after the live game is done, who knows :)
Experienced teams are a lot more expensive.
Just look at sports these days, the most expensive teams win the most prizes.
GDC most likely, but it might be possible that MS will also reveal a new ip at the japanese game event, considering that Microsoft Osaka, and maybe MS still got deals with Mistwalker.
From GDC i would expect footage from black tusk their IP.
Studio's that could possible announce something would be Epic, Playground, Rare, Lionhead, MS victoria and whoever is working on Crackdown 3 :).
Apples and oranges, they make great media centers for XBMC, but they wont replace anyones gaming fix.
Not entirely, multi tasking refers to running multiple application at a time.
Asynchronous complex processes refers to multiple data streams being processed that can be individual data streams from different processes going on inside one application
Multi tasking is a lot broader and cannot be applied to asynchronous processing, as this can only happen within an app.
Asynchronous processing can be perfectly done on cpu's these days however, consid...
Understandable, but i cant see it happen, as you would have to sacrifice a significant amount of 3d processing, just to push the physics and AI a bit.
Where did i say they made a mistake?
I said all gpu's can do it, not that its a mistake.
Its a feature that can be used when the cpu is bottlenecked, but that will never happen as its usually the gpu that gets bottlenecked.
Every gpu can do that, as gpu's can do multiple streams of data, while cpu's can only do one per thread.
However, its just not a good idea, as cpu's handle a lot more data per thread then a gpu can.
The gpu's in the ps4 and the xb1 are no different from the ones inside a pc.
With an opinion like yours, you should get a pc, not a console.
Forza 5
Dead rising 3
Killer instinct
Watchdogs
battlefield 4
Thats too bad, but at least the 3ds gets plenty of 3rd party love, hoping for some rpg goodness, perhaps suikoden.
I am looking forward to 3ds announcements on this show.
And maybe some WiiU, tho i dont expect anything amazing from third party's.
Hopefully Capcom is gonna reveal Darkstalkers for next gen consoles and some Suikoden from Konami.
An ofcourse i am curious to what Microsoft Osaka is cooking!
Not really, Android consoles are a market of their own, their main target group are casual gamers who want to play their phone stuff on tv, and people who want a cheap xbmc center or an emulation device.
Main consoles are for hardcore gamers, android devices do not offer that.
Maybe from the perspective of a non gaming business man they do, but any gamer knows better.
The power brick is pretty small tho, slightly bigger then the controller:

We are discussing next gen here.
They invested a billion in new ips, where is your source that states they invested even more in tv?
And why need a microphone? kinect already got one.
I fully agree, games have always been my priority on deciding what platform i go for.
Besides, platforms have never been so close in specs before as the XB1 and the Ps4, so games are going to be exactly the same.
Strange article, because besides the revealed stuff, we dont know what is in development.
Top 5 revealed games would be better :)
Nothing wrong with battery's.
The ps4 controller also contains battery's, rechargable ones that is.
And you have to screw it open when the battery's break down.
