it won't govern itself. Can the industry hide illicit content in its video games? Sure, this is America. Should the industry hide illicit content in its video games? No, children don't need to be exposed to that crap. I enjoy adult content as much as the next guy, but I am a licensed therapist and I work with children every day. I see how this kind of negligence affects kids. It can be damaging and can affect how they perceive the world, women, etc. Parents need to pay attention to wh...
You're an idiot!
You are absolutely right. She's not going to ban adult oriented video games. All she wants to do is make sure the idiot, virgin, programmers don't try to slip crap under any honest, well-intentioned parents nose. We'll still get to see all the great blood, guts, and boobs even if Hillary is elected (which she probably will). I'm still voting for her (unless she does something really stupid). She's going to get us out of Iraq and back in good favor with the rest of the world.
I'm fine with her wanting to regulate the industry as long as the content is still there. I still want lots of blood, guts, boobs, etc. in my games. I think it's fine that little kids shouldn't be playing games like GTA. But as an adult, I still want to see all the slimy crud I can get my hands on.
that movie was such a Matrix rip-off. Christian Bale is the man, though. Can't wait for The Dark Knight.
I bought The Bourne Ultimatum on HD DVD for the simple fact that I wanted it in HD. Normally, I buy only blu-ray. I also bought At World's End on blu-ray. Fantastic.
I fired this gem up over the weekend and really enjoyed it. The single player campaign is kind of lame, but the multiplayer is definitely where it's at. Did anyone else have any problems with lag? I did until I fully installed the game. After that, everything was smooth sailing. It was kind of funny in that I would pull the trigger, but the gun wouldn't fire until after about 2 or 3 seconds. I was really starting to get frustrated.
I also like the ability to customize y...
It's time to kill that dinosaur. Cut the PS2 out of the equation completely and focus on the PS3! I am so sick of hearing about the PS2. Cut it off! Cut it off!
Let's all wait until after Christmas to make any real judgments. I think the holiday buying season is just now getting into full swing, and I noticed that COD4 for PS3 had a price reduction on Amazon and was #3 in video game sales. Give it more time.
so they can churn out more bad ports the Rocky Mountain way? It's a conspiracy man!
but I think Uncharted's screen shots looked better than Tomb Raider's.
that once they iron out all the glitches it'll run fine on both the 360 and the PS3. Let's try to be positive people.
What in the world are you talking about? Are you saying this reviewer (who is an American) is a dumbass? I hope you're not insinuating that all Americans are dumbasses. I'll grant you that there are a lot of dumbass Americans, but there are also a lot of dumbass Europeans and Asians. One douche reviewer doesn't necessarily spoil then entire population.
Uncharted is heads and tails above any Tomb Raider game out there. All you have to do is open your eyes.
I did, I do, and you're right!
Someone posted that with the firmware update, original PSP's were upgraded to 333mhz. Is this true? Is there a way to tell on my PSP? I do not have the new slim and would certainly hate to have to trade in for the new model just to play Chains.
I'm not sure how you can call a 2:1 sales edge for blu-ray a stalemate.
Someone tell me (if you were born before that war) why/how the public decided on VHS? Was it the movie studios that decided who won? Beta seemed to have an edge on VHS with its compact size and cheaper production costs. What happened? What can we learn from that war? And by the way, I do think blu-ray is winning.
all the way, baby. Can't wait. Great graphics and the gameplay looks insane. However, it does smack of a Gears of War clone in some ways.
you don't want George Dubya in office any longer than what is legally allowed.
