If the hardcore gamer was important to Nintendo, they would have developed a console with HD graphics and a whole line of deep games. Why would they care? They are making some wicked coin catering to the casual audience.
is overkill.
I saw the interview on X-play last night and one of the developers stated that they were able to enhance some of the visuals over the 360 version.
I was watching X-play last night and they had one of the programmers for Bioshock on the PS3 say they were able to enhance some of the graphics because of the capabilities of the PS3. Maybe he mispoke, but I was kind of intrigued by his comment.
This author is talking about ridiculous side notes as if they are make or break catastrophes. A worthless article. N4G seems to be getting a lot of these lately. Resistance 2 looked great. Gears 2 looked great. Everything will be fine.
that I'm actually getting a better deal by having purchased the launch 60gb PS3 rather than waiting for these other sku's? I have all the backward compatibility I could want. Maybe I mistakenly thought that new versions of something should improve upon the previous. I guess the one main drawback for me was having to get a dual shock 3.
...
supposedly this new 60gb sku will have the 65nm chipset, which will, theoretically, run a lot cooler and quieter. I know some other sku's supposedly had the Falcon chipset, but I don't know their failure rates. Personally, I'm waiting to get this new sku since my original 360 RRoD'd on me. I'm going to trade in the replacement M$ gave me (it sounds worse than my original). If this new sku doesn't work out, I think I'm done with this gen of M$ hardware.
the same thing. However, I noticed that after a firmware update my SD DVD's haven't always appeared to be upscaled. I'll have to look into that a little more.
I invented jock itch!
I invented the invention.
I invented avatars!
When the public was shunned, E3 lost a lot of its luster. It's not that great anymore, and this year's offerings seemed stale. Don't get me wrong. There were a lot of great titles showcased, but they all dropped with a loud thud. G4's coverage did everything they could to bolster the wow factor, but they could only do so much. E3 needs to bring back the public and the booth babes!
I'm really looking forward to this title. I'm not sure about the auto lock on feature, but what else can the developers do? It sounds a lot like Socom.
I hope more IP's do these kinds of "bridges" in between major releases. This reminds me of Killzone: Liberation, not so much for the gameplay, but rather for the extrapolation of the saga.
I bought my Wii specifically so I could play Metroid Prime, but now that I have it I'm trying to justify keeping my Wii. Nothing is coming out that tickles my fancy. I'm strongly considering selling it.
how the shooting mechanic will work. Will it have auto aim?
I love Super Stardust!
I always like good box art. I think this one is better than the first. Does anybody think the game is looking a little Resistance-ish?
Animal Crossing? You have got to be kidding me.
