what anybody says. I'm going to get this game as soon as it's out. It looks amazing. The gameplay looks to be very engaging. The graphics rival anything out there (Gears, Uncharted, Ratchet, Bioshock).

hasn't crapped out on me, and I've had it well over a year. I've also had my PS3 for over a year, and it's performed flawlessly. My Wii is doing well also, but who cares? I'm not an Xbot or a Sony fanboy. I'm just reporting that so far (knock on wood), all of my consoles are performing well. However, my 360 does have a loud fan, which is annoying.
The music industry today is all about squeezing out a hit from an artist and then dumping them to find the next big thing. That may be a reason why iTunes is such a success. It is so easy to find that one song you love without being loaded down with a substandard album. I agree that it's different with movies. I still buy blu-ray discs. I've played COD4 on PSN and have encountered guys using the N word left and right. But as a general rule, the people on PSN have been pretty well behaved when I'm on.

Great looking game with awesome graphics. Gameplay looks like fun (ala Gears). Yes, the AI seems to run around with no real purpose. I agree they look like the nectar troops from Haze. Still, I'll buy it.

I just picked up mine yesterday at Target (along with Super Mario Galaxy).
The problem tends to be that so many parents don't give a toss what their kids are exposed to. They just want them to shut up and leave them alone, so they let movies and video games be the baby sitter.
None of these candidates are going to take away M rated video games. They just want to make sure kids don't get their hands on them. I agree with them. I don't think 10-year-olds should be playing COD4, Gears of War, or Resident Evil 4. They are too gory and bloody. Some of these other games like God of War and Mass Effect, which have nudity or partial nudity shouldn't be played by little kids either. Can't our children focus on childhood and not have to be exposed to these adult themes...

I, myself, haven't experienced a RROD yet (knock on wood). I bought mine right after Gears of War came out.
