You guys are all missing the point, its about market share, The point is not to be number one as of now they know that isnt possible.
What the real ticket here is, they were able to come into the gaming world dominated by someone else and get a piece of the pie and build a reputation and make money from it maybe not profit, yet, but who though MS could take on the PS2 at any time you didnt, there fore you didnt you think they would do much damage to this gen, they did, the poin...
They just need to incorporate a system that the amount of time lost is the amount of time added, they are a software company Im sure they can figure it out, iiiiiiif they really wanted to.
I went through 3 of these things, then one decided to take it apart take a look before i sold it. What were they thinking, the fans run full blast and still over heating, 3 yrs later and still no REAL explanation and or permanent fix what other company could get away with selling a known faulty product unbelievable.

This is the dumbest thing Ive heard in a while. I gurantee there will be new consoles. Stick with name brand stores, walmart, target best buy etc, Im not saying they will always be prefect however the chances are much lower that you will get an already opened item etc.

Do you really think these companies dont know what they are doing? You own their product, they have people who get paid to research what you think, they have polls they have data to back up what they do, WHY? because it makes them money by knowing.
