See im not sure I dig home. because its an app launch and not something you are in when you boot up. Put it this way if you turned on the PS3 and you were on home, say it showed your apt in the back ground with your person, but the menu over layed it with your options xmb etc that would be cool, I just dont like the idea of lunching seperate apps.
I would assume you will see 500GB drive in it, with 24X BR Drive as an extra but 50% of it will be for downloaded content games\demos and the rest for what ever services offerred
WOW im am really suprised, its a demo capcom couldnt get it out to both systems at the same time? And they choose to put it out on a console in Japan with a low install base first?

I favor the PS3 right now, and I dont own eithier system, however FF7 on PS1 was 3 dics wasnt a big deal then , so get over it, MS and SONY will both have high end disc formats in the next system as well as Digital Distribution

What you said is so accurate, the break down of the PSN community is the lack of head set, if every game had people talking and communicating it would be totally different state right now.

The difference is, what comes in a PS3 at 299.99 with half a yr later with Blue Ray and more LCDs sold, it will be in about the sweetest spot it can get. SONY would be wise to take the loss on the hardware now, and let software make up for the difference ...

and dont forget you have to pay another license fee for each additional disc. That cost more money, in this economy not something game developers are looking favorably apon. However Im willing to bet to get FF over to the Xbox I bet MS told Square they would wave that feee..........whatcha think on that?
WEll this point is mute, because they have already stated they want to be first again next gen, so this will end in 2010 and the new one will be apon us on 2011 with SONY to follow the next yr.
