You cant have an attitude to do it like you want, when competition is stepping up for your mistakes. I had an xbox 3 died, I now will buy a SONY. WIth that said, one thing its obvious SONY did wrong is not listen.

Xbox people are blind, how do I know this, I was one.
First the system dies countless times, they come out and say "take better care of it, no way it could be MS fault"
Then , PSN is free, they say, Ours is better we dont mind paying for it, MS got ya right there, right in the wallet and on thier way of thinking, nice way to think for yourself.

I gotta agree on 2 points, I love the grit of GOW2 has, very strong and lush looking game, but I have the same complaint I had with the 1st one, its too enclosed to linear not enough open fighting.
There is an exception to every rule, if I say something someone can counter it with atleast one point, seriously PCs are doomed for games, atleast for attracting a large base now. MMOs obviously however the single player exp is dying fast on PCs, C&C3 type games are slowly moving to consoles more quickly etc. With mice and cams and keyboards on consoles, they day of the PC is ending and the strictly game machine is taking over. Hes a PC Developer first and foremost, of course he wont tell...

I must admit, I am really suprised, I have not bought my ps3 yet, I thought MS would drive home a dagger and smack em with the price of a 100 dollars difference, made me think I might just pick up a 360 also. But not now I like the core 80GB ill be getting that. MS you guys come on man you almost had me!

Its like BIO shock great game but once you beat it, you beat it. MGS4 if it was to go multi, who cares, the steam is out of the ship already, I think in this day n age we can only think, most things will now be, TIMED exclusives at best, the day of one system having it all may be over, or the day of SONY having it may be over considering how much Money MS could pump out to get exclusives if they really wanted to.
In Japan its not worth the investment for them, not near enough 360 consoles for them to put forth that kind of effort on a game. PS3 better have a super bad ass secrete in their E3 to counter this one.....and hopefully they come up wiht a product that cost 599.99 again...whew

I am so sick of this S$%^, Im tired of it taking 4 iterations to get up to par with the last gen, the way the game looks this year, is how it should be the first title on a next gen console not the 3rd or 4th one down the road.
Most likely this wasnt done to please customers, it just worked out that way, example, who makes 20 gigs anymore? not many , its easier for them to get a 60gb than a 20gb as factories probably send out more 60s which makes it cheaper and easier.
This is a market, of, market share, they dont need a price drop, they have to drop the price. Its not about well maybe we should its about you better. Stay competetive get those machines in houses at whatever it takes
Yes they should, this is about market share, time is money , more than loosing money now. They have done a terrible job up until the last year. They cant say , well we will loose to much money while the competition take more market share. Step up, and Step Up Now.
ha, I agree with the above, hard to win a battle once you have competition, 360 had it been released at the same time feature wise etc, it would hardly have looked as good, and listen here I was a HUUUUUUUGE original xbox fan, however they got away from what made them pimp.
2nd MS cant compete globally, they just cant. with that said MS should see about 35 total sales be the end of its cycle. PS3 I would guess 87mil

I say if they are smart they do a 80GB stand alone with Dual shock 3, and no BC (Basically upgrade the 40GB hardrive and put the new controller with it)
they can keep the 399 price point with that and drop the 499 to 449
