I agree, I want the PS3 to do well, I like SONY, anyone who thinks SONY is doing a good job at connecting to people through these "Campaings" they go on instead of advertising yr round is out of their mind.
SONY take note, you need better advertising, can your current team and go get the ones who did the PS1 advertising they made you what you are.
I notice a lot of people are missing the point. The PS2 is to compete with the cheaper xbox360 (199 arcade) and the casual Wii market.
The PS3 as they see it is priced towards fighting for the future and the living room and towards the top end xbox 360, hence

I hope SONY does well but time and time again, its like MS's RROD death, SONYs was a 599 price tag, which they are getting every so close to that 299 which is to me the golden ticket, I say take the losee of 100 dollars to gain the market share and reclaim your territory.
Well you break it down like this 8 million =16 month head start thats about right, so if you look at it that way, they are basically tired, with PS3 at a higher price point. SONY needs a price cut average consumer doesnt care about tech, they want price.

I have to agree sony did well but this is about market share every xbox360 sold 1 more than PS3 means more game sales for that console, which means more dev support etc.

I think what has happned is this, Casual, Wii, Hardcore bring it to your face full fledge out, Xbox360, PS3 is a combo system you can get a little bit of everything. Now MS is trying to emulate a little Wii into itself with getting cuter NXE and a few more family games. PS3 I think needs to work on marketing a little more and gain a stronger identity.

SONY could suck this gen, but this game will sell regardless, it wont be at quite HALO3 level, simply because the 1st one wasnt a bench mark setter, but going forward KIllzone3, may be the HALO sales maker after the bench mark is set by this one, What do you guys think???

2 Reasons I would buy an Xbox (again)(3 broke I bailed) if gears 3 will on be on there sys, or if Halo4 came out, or seriously Killer Instinct...wow would that be epic other than that, GodOW3 and KZ2 may be the new HALO of this gen for me.
MS knew of a bad product; they released it anyways and caused a plethora of problems for consumers and took to long to address it.

I agree, just apply the option to go through the color spectrumm on each peice of clothing and you just upped your variety by like a 1000%. Easy it seems to me.

As a person from an xbox original camp, all i had were PS1 games, so I was cool. The only game I have even had an desire to play is GOD of War 1 and 2
