Its over for PCs, except MMO's its over, yea youll have your here and there hit, but consoles will and are taking over as the mainstream gaming device.

Seriously no doubt. I bought a 360 for xmas about 2 weeks ago, thought it as cool but other than HALO3 i wasnt sure why i bought it. I played GOW2 beat it to quick and the online was WEEAAKK. So I returned it.
I researched PS3 came across this and GOW ( I never played it on PS2 because I had an XBOX)
I picked up a PS3 last week, this game drove me over the edge and having a blue ray player doesnt hurt.
Uncharted worth it at 30 for sure, not 60, also Need for speed? That series died looooooooooooooong ago

Online for this game is WEEEEEEEEEEEAK, maybe the Horde mode but that not enough to keep it going say like HALO3 was.

I agree, people have been pounding the idea of, THe ps3 will own 2009, I agree, they will, IF, they price cut, because SONYs brand name is still more powerful than MS's in the gaming division and globally, and price is what makes them go hmm whats the xbox thing at a cheaper price. SONY needs to take that option away. Marketing is hit or miss with any company.

360 equals crap HARDWARE, we know this to be fact return rates say so
PS3 Software is decent at best, we know this to be true, its plain simple but not ground breaking say vs NXE.
Both put out 95% of the same games with lame differences like shadowing or color or brightness differences, and people act as if there is a leg to stand on to defend their console because of that.

SONY really only needs these 2 additions to be on par, cross game invites and chats, and sending voice mails over PSN. Once thats done, Ill be in Killzone heaven and pretty much wont be booting up the 360 anymore.

I bought a 360 a week ago NXE was cool and HALO and GOW were cool, but it felt a bit kiddy and the DVD rom was unacceptably loud, and I cant transfer files from USB, weak.
So, I bought a PS3 Wed. Dont dig XMB as much as NXE but the functions of the system are much better.
But, HOME, I logged in and tried it after hearing about it for years, is plain and simply WEAK, and I will not be logging into it again.
While I agree the PS3 game debate is dead, the 360s software and Online system being superior is not dead.
As a recent purchaser of both, plan on returning them both before xmas.
