Nobody mentioned the K word.
Just played the demo with my son - great fun and will certainly be picking this up for my PS3.
My personal standout game this year is Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Right up there with my other favourite, Borderlands 2.
I would agree that PS3 game development will continue after the PS4 release - pretty much the same as PS2 has continued alongside PS3.
Time to put the faithful old PS2 warhorse out to pasture.
IF Sony makes the PS4 4K capable then it would be in line with their future-proofing policy for the PS console - presumably another 10 year plan.
I think MS build intentions are more difficult to predict or guess at for the xbox720.
I ploughed over 200 hours into Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Great game and even bigger shame that a second game looks unlikely.
Oh no - might we end up with PS4 Collections of PS3 Collections lol
Probably part of Sonys 10 year future-proofing plan for the 'PS4'.
It would be interesting to factor in the continuation of the PS2 and the PSP into that line of thought.
It was the "oncoming trunk" that did for Sony! Seriously, rebuilding in the present world economic climate is going to be slow snd difficult for any company.
Yeah, the sun maybe setting but it also rises again- hopefully!
Too far and pretty much shooting yourself in the foot MS, if true.
One of the worst aspects of this generation - the pathetic doom-laden articles that predict doom and disaster for platform x, console y or game z.
Might I add the horror that was named Haze lol. The thought of it still makes me shudder!
@ElementX
Your absolutely right friend and take that back with apologies. I didnt think before posting.
Since this story broke, its an analogy that stuck in my head. As a PS3 Borderlander, I hope this is sorted soon for all you PC and 360 guys.
Gaming HIV. And you cant even practice safe gaming online by using a condom lol
Nice to have the old girl back but the cut scenes look worse than the PS2 version somehow. And I go to Specsavers lol
But wouldn't it be true to say without CS there would have been NO game? And hasn't it cost him his own personal fortune of $50 million?
A disaster all round. Financially for the state, the company, the employees who lost their livelihoods and the gamers who enjoyed what was an outstanding first - and last game from 38 studios.
I really hope the IP is picked up by soneone who can take it forward. as it promised so much.
So....Killzone HD isnt released on the UK store today? Anyone confirm please?
Japan will be only a small fraction of their sales market. Pretty sure the rest of the world dont have a problem with the number 4.
