I sure would like to try it with a bluetooth-paired DS controller and my xperia z phone, just for the hell of it. Its cool that it remotes to my Vita though.
@ Strongman
lol....have a bubble
@superdarrin82
I would actually disagree with your statement. It's an old chesnut but considering you bought a blu ray player built into exotic architecture that I daresay, will STILL produce eyewatering results for a few years more yet - in the hands of the right devs - I think it was a hell of an investment. And still is.
Also, dont forget, the world wasnt sunk in the financial recession it is now.
Future headlines to watch for:
SONY WILL BLOCK USED GAMES (OR WONT)
XBOX720 MAY BE FREE TO PLAY ONLINE (OR NOT)
KINECT 2: A RIPROARING SUCCESS (OR NOT)
PS4: STAIRWAY TO GAMING HEAVEN (NO QUESTION)
MS and Sony are staring each other down over this used game blocking business. Who will blink first I wonder?
It could well settle the generation before it even starts if one of them calls it wrong.
Bet she's down for day one for the Nextbox lol
Its one thing having a console with a great spec - but even better knowing you have a collection of first party devs that can make it sing.
"Oh PS4 , you're such a tease on our first date, but you're so big and strong and muscular" *blushes coyly* lol
I can't wait to run Shadow Fall on my PS VITA. If any devs out there have the talent and the will to make that happen, its Guerrilla Games.
I have this image in my head.
PS Vita is hanging by its fingertips from the roof of a burning building, in dire peril. The crowd below, all look up in helpless horror.
Unseen, across the street, a figure bursts from the doorway of a phonebox, shirt ripping open to reveal PS4 on its shiny black chest....*cue Superman theme*
Vita's going to be fine.
That has to be the biggest pile of crap Ive ever read from an excuse of a journalist. He should really find another profession.
How about working in Dairy farming? Im sure he could find plenty of REAL shit to shovel...
No BC...fine, I can live with that. Three other potential 'minefields' that Sony could have wandered into, concerned me more.
* Following MS business strategy and having to pay for online play.
* Blocking the playing of used games.
* Needing a permanent online connection..
Any one of those would have far more serious repercussions for PlayStations uptake than BC not being present. Your move, MS.
It was the second sniper on the grassy knoll....
Developers get not only a pretty powerful and relatively straightforward system to put their games on but can also expect Sony support and backing in doing so.
As a consequence, the gamer gets an even greater menu of games being brought to the table. Variety is the Sony way.
So what if they can no longer claim 'It only does everything'. What it does promise to do has more than whetted my appetite for what's to come, as a gamer.
Just future-proofing by Sony. Who knows within the next 10 years.
Well, Sony certainly seem to have remedied one complaint levelled against them in recent years. Last Friday , here in the UK, the national dailies were chock full of ads for the Sony Xperia Z.
In the Daily Express, there were 7 consecutive pages of ads - 2 of them full page - for their new smartphone. Talk about overdose lol. Ive never seen Sony jam a new product in your face, like that before. Cant wait to see PS4 marketing.
Finally, their advertising appears to have woken up...
I just want the PS4 priority to be all about GAMING. The innovative, jaw-dropping variety that Sony' developers have produced on the PS3 .
Everything else that PS4 can do is a bonus to me.
I reckon Vita's big news will be with it's PS4 interconnectivity when its announced on February 20th.
OT.
Hopefully , I'll get my hands on the sony xperia Z Ive preordered, on February 28th. My real Sony Trinity is coming - PS4, Vita and xperia z; all covered with a rich Gaikai sauce lol
If it plays half as good as it looks, then really cant wait for this. Got every confidence in Guerrilla Cambridge.
Sony has a grand gaming plan and all the pieces are coming together. A gaming Nirvana no less.
