Sony dont really have to prove anything. They have the best hanheld console on the market and now they are building a top class library for it. Its not an overnight achievement.
Remember. PS3 also had 'no games '
Nice one Sony. Being a gamer is all about the games.
Personally speaking, when it comes to TVs, then size really does matter imho.
Game of the year isn't released until September 18th imo.....Borderlands 2 ftw.
So....People Are Flying?
I cant believe how many people want to see Sony fail. The Vita is a quality piece of hardware as you would expect it to be.
Its in for the long haul people - a marathon not a sprint. The games will come. Its no more doomed than the PS3 was/is.
Whilst third party support picks up, which it eventually will, maybe Sony could use its own first party developers. Naughty Dog has two development teams, why not SSM, GG Sucker punch etc.
One team to develop for PS3, the 'second string' to focus on Vita development. Not necessarily their established franchises but new IPs
Just a thought.
The memory of Haze still makes me shudder.
Killzone please Sony.
Just a few of a number of great titles to be found on the PSP and all given a new lease of life on Vita primarily due to the second stick.
Dear Sony,
Just what the heck have you done with the HD remastering (and accompanying trophification) of Killzone PS2 ?? *drums fingers on tabletop*
I absolutely love this game and this article saddens me all the more.
On the one hand, I suppose credit is due to CS for his investment and drive to bring 38 studios together and production of an awesome first game.
However, it seems like Nero fiddling whilst Rome burnt might describe the studios demise. Obviously some really talented people lost their jobs over it. Great, great shame.
I loved Borderlands and played the hell out of it for the simple reason it was/is a fun title.
Recently,I play Kingdoms of Amular which is also an outstanding game and feels very much like Borderlands formulaic gameplay in so many different ways (without the guns and cel shading of course)
The first game was well supported with some excellent DLC although I think the Underdome was a bit of an acquired taste.
Haha .You just got to love Gearbox and Borderlands 2 . Nothing like committing slaughter to a great soundtrack.
My most anticipated game since......Borderlands lol
New IP's are pretty much a creative and financial gamble so as a gamer I appreciate how much Sony are usually willing to put themselves out there - successfully more often than not, imho.
Games like Journey and Heavy Rain come to mind.
Cant wait for the Call of Duty Flat cap and Whippet DLC lol
September can't come soon enough .
Im still waiting on Sony to give Killzone (PS2) some HD remastering love. Imo, best Kz story yet.
Are there any more creative devs than MM? Creative and at the same time enabling gamer creativity. One of Sonys finest among many.
