Get over it already. There is a woman in the industry, big deal. Some of you guys act like you have never seen a woman before.
Until you realize that there are multiple choices when it comes to game consoles, and just two when it comes to HD players. Not to mention how you are more than likely using vgchartz for your totals, and forgot to include how the 360 was out a year ahead.
Using vgchartz is like relying on wikipedia for your totals.
The microshafts enjoy putting all their faith in American reviews. As for the title, well desperate times call for desperate xbots.
The important quote in the wired article was: "early next year." (their quotation marks, not mine) If you guys bothered to read their source you would find the following:
"SO DO YOU KNOW WHEN THE 360 ONE MIGHT BE OUT?
No. We wont even start working on it until early next year."
I think it was pretty clear.

Maybe you should read the source provided by wired.

Let the Microshafts have their fun, there's nothing ever going on in the 360 section.
Really? The PS1 and PS2 did fine for quite some time, and continue to. What was it, a combined 230 Million consoles sold between the two?
Where is the original XBox? Look it up, it was released before the 360. Yeah, it did exist.
Microsoft has been advertising multi-platform games for a while. It is a good move, and Sony should have done it sooner. Not everyone is up-to-date on the industry, and placing your logo on a multi-plat product is always a good move.
That's what I expected from what I've seen. Oddly enough I spoke to a few of the devs behind the game this afternoon at the launch party, so I guess I should be a huge fan... but I lost interest in this game.
There's a difference between dust and dirt. Last time I checked dust isn't brown, and doesn't dry onto surfaces.
I wouldn't repair that thing, not in a million years.
Great Weapon, Great Game.
I bet EA is still b1tching somewhere out there about how the next-gen is so hard.
8/10? What game were they "playing"? It couldn't be Uncharted.
The Kotaku fanboys are attempting to spin another one!
The title is the funniest part. The site traffic must be getting low.
Sometimes I wonder if there is any criteria what so ever to be called a reviewer. These clowns not only lowered the bar, but buried it.
I'd rather keep the hundred bucks.
There weren't any games to compete with the graphics of GOW in the 2nd year of the 360, so that logic is completely faulty. UT3 PS3 looks better than any game released in the first and second year of the 360, and Uncharted looks better than UT3. Sure COD4 looks better than GOw as well, but the PS3 version is the best looking console version, so that theory goes out the door as well.
Maybe Bioshock, but that might be stretching it.
GH3 PS3 is sold out everywhere I check. I'm dying to get a copy. Every other console is stacked, but the PS3 alone is oddly sold out.
More interesting images attached.
Enough said.
It gets quite frustrating when you sneak up on someone and repeatedly attempt to chainsaw them, only to find that the chainsaw has decided once again to crap out on you in Gears of War. It should have been the torque bow.
I'll stick to the original, the doom chainsaw.
