I don't even consider them the same genre, so they don't compete directly against each other.
Also, I think since they are both AAA 3rd party games we can all enjoy both.
It's the exclusive AAA games this Holiday that make the difference.
Nice
This adds yet another dimension to the game.
Perhaps a Prince of Persia Sands of Time type element?
Awesome
Doesn't matter what console you are playing on, the manufacturers have all come out and stated that BC is one of the most requested features.
MS has already stated that over 130 BC games will soon be available followed soon by hundreds more. Best of all is the functionality comes at NO ADDITIONAL COST; it's a big bonus and takes nothing away from the outstanding Holiday line-up of AAA games.
Between 130+ BC games and a phenomenal choice indie, AAA 3r...
Agree
First off, it's an incredible complement to Forza 6 that these guys feel the need to compare it to Project Cars on a PC and, as mentioned, even using Virtual Reality to support their case.
I have to ask how well they know Forza 6, as they mention "Rewind" but fail to note that Rewind, like ALL assists in Forza 6, can be turned on or off. Turn of one, turn off them all, turn off individual assists, your choice, play the way you like.
Yes, a couple of very nice updates; just 2 of many.
Looking forward to seeing where they go with the recent acquisition of HAVOK.
I think games are going to hit a new and previously unseen level of destruction, along with other effects and content.
It's an awesome Holiday already, can't wait to see what 2016 will bring.

Looking forward to it...
Another layer to the onion for players to experiment with...
How many different ways can we utilize our team to infiltrate an enemy base?
Very nice
We all knew TitanFall was a huge success, EA made it clear in a previous statement:
http://www.polygon.com/2014...
"Three games led that performance, according to EA. Respawn Entertainment's Titanfall, EA DICE's Battlefield 4 and EA Canada's FIFA 14 are three of the five best-selling titles in the West across all platforms in 201...
Indeed
10 million is BIG sales, far greater than most games.
Even established IPs often don't reach 10m.
Much higher than most ppl thought.
A real success story.
Congrats Respawn.
And EA said the X1 was the platform that sold the most versions.
10 years is a long time for a console.
Very soon the Xbox360 will pass its 10th anniversary and enter its 11th year of production.
It has received very good support considering its age:
TomnRaider
TitanFall
Forza Horizon 2
just to name a few, and all have scored or been reviewed as the top in their respective genres.
A very good run indeed.
Outstanding value
1TB console
+Headset
+Fallout 4
+Fallout 3
And great use of Backward Compatibility
"Part of this innovation will include building the most complete cloud service, which we’ve just started to show through games like “Crackdown 3.”
MS is about to take gaming to the next level.
Can't wait:
-Unmatched destruction
-effects like volumetric fog
-smarter and more NPCs
Great deal for Prime members and for a game that has been previewing to great acclaim.
I think I'm going to take the word of Yoshida when he describes it as "sparse" and "not releasing any new AAA titles".
That said there will be plenty of indies for the consoles if that is what you crave.
And let's not forget that Backward Compatibility will bring well over 130 games to X1 with hundreds more to follow.
Great for games like World of Tanks; 15 players on a team.
I'm wondering if the extra can be used for cross game chat?
@LostDjinn
Not true
You can invite 16 players but only chat with 8

"Lara’s jump to the new generation of consoles has brought with it a beautiful new lick of paint. While Tomb Raider was by no means an ugly game, Rise of the Tomb Raider fully utilizes the power of the Xbox One, and Lara looks so much better for it. The visuals were crisp and beautiful and has definitely helped Crystal Dynamics fully realize Lara."
Sounds like Crystal Dynamics has really evolved TombRaider in all key aspects:

"Gameplay was slick, refined and truly responsive. Indeed if Rocksteady’s Arkham series is lauded for making you feel like Batman, then Crystal Dynamics ought to receive praise for achieving a similar feeling of intoxicating empowerment within the action-adventure genre. But much to our relief, the early build balanced high-octane action with head-scratching riddles rather expertly."
That's some very high praise. Sure sounds like CD nailed it.
...
Not a chance
Like the Phenix from the flames
He will rise again
And kick some serious butt
Hail to the King baby!
Definitely appears that the relationship between MS and PlatinumGames is continuing on a positive track.
One can see the fruits of their combined efforts in some of the previews we been privy to, looking really good.
Wow, great score
"Most racing games that feature wet weather is there purely cosmetically or it just reduces the grip on the car's tyres, but it feels substantial in Forza Motorsport 6."
So true, this what makes the difference to the most important part of a racing game, how it feels to race and how the environment changes that feel.
So many features unseen before this generation, or greatly improved
-24 cars on...
