Yea i guess those had the minimum of moves and kept the classic style of gameplay.. I liked the Rush games though as well.
I've lost interest if it's not a handheld/console hybrid personally, i'll probably just wait and see what their next gen handheld is like which should be due this year or next at the latest now.
I'm a huge fan of L4D and Half Life, at this point i really hope they reveal at least ONE game this year.. It has been almost 2 years since those leaked L4D2 plantation level slides running on Source 2 and still no news!

Considering you can get 1080p 120/144fps on PC or 1440p, 4k 30fps (which is what many ps4 games run at using 1080p) I'd hardly say ps4 destroys pc now would it? Not forgetting free online play.
Of course new games will come, do you seriously believe Valve would bother creating Source 2 for nothing?
Yeah, i watch with interest. They have a lot of potential if they can bring back a lot of games we don't see anymore to help drive the system.
Too bad for me if true, i rarely game on consoles these days as i use my PC. But i like the handhelds.
There was a recent rumour stating the NX would be only as powerful as the Xbox One.. Now i really hope that isn't true, i mean it will be coming years later, if anything it should be at the level of PS4 minimum. Preferably above that even.
I will be very interested in the handheld portion, IF it is indeed a handheld/console hybrid. It makes sense that both could run the same games anyway because it would make the online community much bigger and not split.
Not sure i like the screen looking so zoomed out, i preferred it like in the old games. I like the graphics but it says phone game to me, could just be because it's not pixel drawings I'm not sure. Hope it turns out good.
Would love it if they got to revive old classics like streets of rage, splatterhouse, desert strike, road rash etc.. They would have a lot of potential with exclusive titles for sure.
? You can get the psp versions to download on the Vita on the PS store, unless you mean a proper release with better resolution etc..

This is true, L4D 2 is still one of the most played Co-op games on Steam with a very high rating, it barely got any marketing, some TV ads that didn't last very long.
The best most fun games get heard of by word of mouth.. But I'm talking about Valve here, so quality is a given and that almost goes without saying really.
I actually got a 1080p 120hz screen a few years back now, I'll only upgrade when a much better screen comes along.. For instance you can't currently get both G sync and Freesync in one monitor, you can't get a ULMB type mode working at the same time as G sync & Freesync.
1440p might be my next stop, but right now I'm fine with a single high end GPU at 1080p for the high smooth fps. 4K is still years away on a single GPU for me at least as it struggles to h...
There will be an objective mode added later, i just hope it's more fleshed out than in the first game and more like a co-op campaign.
They are also likely to add an unlimited waves mode with a global leaderboard.
1080p 120hz for me, that still takes some hardware but with a 980Ti most games are well above 60fps. Much prefer kb & mouse for fps games too.
People might bang on about 4k but you'll only get 30fps and under with a single high end card, i might go to 1440p next year maybe.
I'd like to think we'll get at least a new L4D next year, i mean Source engine 2 has been in the works for many years now.What with that and the new screenshots shown of an old HL2 Episode 4 recently on valvetime's site, i think it wouldn't be too much longer.. They aren't developing a new engine for nothing.
5820k is best if only using 1-2 GPU's max..That's what i went with and a 980Ti, I'll likely be sticking with a single graphics card and just replace it 1-2 years later. No multi card issues that way and smoother performance.
5930k isn't really needed unless you need a bunch of pcie cards taking up lanes, they both clock pretty much the same on average.
Nintendo have said themselves that they don't want to release a console like the others, they want to try something to differentiate themselves from those. I'm not sure what they have planned either tbh, but if it's the rumoured console/handheld hybrid then it will definitely get my attention.
If it hasn't got a handheld part with it as rumoured, then i won't be buying it more than likely. But still interested to see how it turns out, i wonder if they will go with powerful hardware this time or just 'good enough'.
