Sounds like Zelda 2 on the NES.
So similar to the originals then like almost the same level layout etc, but remade completely to work better and basically modernised, i guess?
Very interesting.. That they are interested.. :P
Interested in learning more about this console, hope they release more info soon.
3-4 year upgrades is a lot more reasonable than some people who buy a new phone every year though!
1080Ti could be (note, could be) out near the end of the year if AMD release their big Vega card, though it's as good as anyone's guess if it will or not, maybe early next year. It should be a big beast of a card, hopefully with better pricing too than where the 1080 and 1070 sit at right now.
Steam has a TON of users, if MS charge for a service then hardly anyone would use it. Even if Steam has big sales and sells games for almost peanuts they are still making a decent profit off each one sold, they really don't need to charge us to play online.
If the DC had another 2 years or so on the market it would have had a pretty solid library of gems i think, it already had a decent library of good games though. Too bad because it really deserved a bit more than it got, still even though some regard the console as a failure i still think of it as a good competitor at the time.
Apparently even Nintendo dislikes the Gamepad now, at least from an article i read very recently. Makes me wonder why they forced use of it in some games like Starfox Zero.. Not really sure what Nintendo are thinking at times.
Would be nice if they can kick their ass into gear and get on releasing L4D3 plus some other Valve games that many people want.
Realistic Mario where he plucks mushrooms out of the ground to consume and becomes ill? They gonna call it Mario Hospital maybe.. doesn't sound very fun.
My thoughts as well, 60fps should be no problem with no dips at all and with great graphical improvements. This is really good for people who want a console and can't be bothered with PC. I personally have a very good PC already so I'm less interested as I'll be able to get most of the games anyway.
If they went 4k games would have to be locked at 30fps and i think many more intense games would dip to 20fps or so and it would ruin the experience, 60fps with bett...
Looked a bit barren to me, however i guess there's still much to show.
The Scorpio sounds like it has really good specs for a console. Though i agree with the site Ars Technica, that IF it does do native 4K and not upscaled, games will indeed struggle to bring a great performance point. It may be able to do 30fps in some games, and in demanding ones it will no doubt have dips to low 20's or so.
But the great thing about it is that it will be able to keep a great frame rate with very graphic intensive titles if it stays at 1080p.. so 60fps ...
Indeed, it does look good given the specs of the Wii U don't match up to its rivals, regardless if someone thinks it's weak or not.
To the people complaining about the graphics, don't forget it's made with the Wii U in mind. What I'm more curious about is if Nintendo had the foresight to make the game scale well onto the NX or not, if not it will pretty much be a TP situation where both versions will pretty much be identical.
It's a mid gen refresh.. Of course GPU' s 'should' start becoming much more powerful now because of 4k.
Meh, that can't apply to everything, not everything expensive is better (Apple stuff is a good example) and paying for a hooker is just sleazy.
Yea, true all 3 are back.. But.. tbh i was looking forward to the Quake 1 style of game, and this looks like its just an Arena style game, literally.
ID expressed interest in going back to the Q1 style.. i didn't think they would make a Q3 arena tho, bit disappointing.
I was half expecting to see Will Smith in there somewhere..
