I would tone down expectations.
“1st class” as in an infants classroom?
Honestly, this is in it´s infancy. Games are just starting to explore how VR should be done.
The PS4 cant handle heavy VR graphics since it´s rendering two screens at a high fps.
We have seen the games, even if we haven´t played them. Golem, BattleZone, etc.
Graphics are really toned down. It can be fun but calling lets be realistic about it please.
So… it only mattered when the 360 outsold PS3 but not now. Right?
That´s a pretty convenient thing to say…
Graphics not so much but framerate, yes.
No, fuck no!...
"Xbox One Two - knockout", Oculus compatible. Also features a rainbow ring of death!
People were mad when it was rumoured... now they are pissed that its not making an appearance.
The leap when 2nd generation VR devicesget launched will be comparitive to going from "coal to electricity". So I'm going to go easy on first gen investments.
Sony executives mentioned that PSVR might be made to work on PC. Microsoft is making Oculus ubiquitous to console and windows, Sony would smart to enable PSVR for windows also. Even more so since they have other content investments aside from games that can be consumed , such as video or movies.
Unfortunately Sony has never been prone to that sort of openness with their hardware and clearly suffered by that stance. The Vita with its proprietary memory cards is one of the mo...
I wonder how much of this date change is actually a strategic calendar repositioning to make way for something else… or stay clear of.
I believe (or hope) that F2P can be done well but seldomly is it done correctly. Games that ensue players with "pay to win" incorrectly are bringing the model down, giving it a bad rap and yes, making players give up from playing the game further. Unless you are a "whale" and you unload wads of cash to reach those max levels and bases, in that case the game is lots of fun, right?
You could say that this happens when that threshold of "it´s real...
More personality than No Man Sky but apparently lacking from the same sins... No decent story, hope I´m wrong.
would be nice but I hardly doubt it. That would mean a 2017 release and probably not out until 2018.
Uncharted 4 just came out. TLOU2 wont see the light of day until the end of PS4 life cycle or close to it but thats a good thing.
I wonder what they will do next?... after TLOU2, that is.
I was under the impression that Thrustmaster was a lower end peripheral maker, on the cheep side and I´m no expert on wheels but this looks nice. Would this be in the 300 range... he didnt mention pedal options for this.
price?
I don't believe this will much influence in game design from version to version with the exception of a few titles, mostly first party. Why? Because it took 3 2 and half years to reach 40 million consoles sold. PS4NEO won´t sell as fast, therefore won´t have the relevant install base the original PS4 does and by the time (in 3 years) it starts to reach parity... guess what... a newer full release, newer generation will be launched. Don´t drink the cool aid, this won´t ...
Exactly. We should be grounded about this, expectations need to be realistic. The graphics wont.
