Well, specifically if they arent showing anything more until 2017 (their words, not mine), whats the point of showing the little that they showed yesterday? Wierder and wierder... those marketing folks at Nintendo have to be smoking some sort of special stuff...
PSVR is sort of like the first Iphone, beautiful to look at, feels good but aside from the basic apps theres not much there... yet. So in other words the following iterations will be leaps and bounds better.
So this version has to be supported otherwise PSVR 2 wont happen.

Sony competes on games quality before console specs (I´m not saying spec aren’t relevant though) but console success has historically be based on public perception. E3 2013 was a bust for for Microsoft they started getting bad rep about the DRM story in games and then it all went down hill from there particularly with the 900p vs 1080p games debacle.

I would rather have a demo that isn´t a part of the game. Understandably, that would take additional time and resources so since I´ve been burned before ahem*NMS*ahem, I´ll wait it out to see some “reliable source” reviews.

Honestly, I wish that they would focus on their IP for distribution on various platforms. If they dropped console hardware and made just games, that would be great.
The release of Mario on IOS feels like a “tip of the toe”, if it works they might shift their policy.
They say NX is a hybrid to take with you on the go and play locally on a TV/Console base but I cant see people lugging around something more than their smartphones.
Nintendo is good, great at games… not Hardware. I wouldnt expect too much but hey I would love to be proved wrong.

I don´t expect Microsoft to invest in their own VR tech, its more risk for them and I´m sure they don´t want to start from scratch when they can partner with FB that has Oculus.
There have been some mixed reviews but overall they are positive. Lets hope Sony can get this right, so far the best VR library is theirs.

Well… in time it will change into something undefined of yet but we aren´t anywhere near that!
I don´t have a crystal ball but when VR/AR becomes untethered and selectable (on the same device), most games will probably be played through a headset type device, instead of a flat monitor in front of you. Although the interaction with people around you that could be gaming also is cut off, that´s an issue for “couch gaming with friends”.
