I think its subjective. I would argue that both are expensive but also to put things into perspective the Iphone (or any other modern smartphone for that matter) is used everyday, for the duration of the day. It serves you much more than a gaming console. On the flip side of course, you argue that how each person values their money and their equipment can vary... so there´s also that.
No western version?
Console supporters are digging an early grave by subscribing to the power hunger on console. Expect the power trip to accelerate so that you get newer versions sooner. I hope you all have deep pockets, you are goong to need them.
So either it's a PS5/PSVR2 title or its been permanently canned. I think it might be a tad ambitious for the move controllers and the (lack of) room scaling capabilities of the current PSVR. Just guessing...

Pretty sure they are heavily regretting allowing early access to the game. The videos out there are mostly a mockery of all the bugs the game as at this stage.
I guess that really comes down to how well the Scorpio will steal the limelight.
That being said, unless they come out guns blazing at E3 with a plethora of game for it, that would happen. The fact that the console will be more powerful than PS4 Pro, if it has a poor roster of games, the uptake to the Scorpio will only last shortly.
I wonder how close they will get to the Playstation 2 (Sony) – 157.68 Million? There's no doubt PS4 sales will not even come close but it should reach close to Wii numbers by the end of its console life (Wii (Nintendo) – 101.18 Million).
I might be wrong but E3 this year will be cut throat between these 3 companies and we all have to gain from that!

CES had a wireless module for the Vive , I wonder how this is different from that. Their tech was proven to have no lag, with a 10gbit wireless connection.
The only drawback was it requires line of sight.

A pro controller that costs $70 or more in other countries for a “console” with highly under powered hardware that has nothing pro about it.
