The Pro bundled with Horizon: Zero Dawn would sell like hotcakes!
Good luck with that Capcom… deep down, you wish it were true.
If they play this right, this game will be the “Uncharted" of the PS4 generation.
While I´m interested in 4K in the long run… getting a 4KTV eventually, I don´t crave storing BR discs or another sort of physical medium at home. I´m sure movie buffs would of loved one but I´ll do fine without it.
Sony most likely didn’t include a 4K BR player dude to price constraints on the PRO, it would of increased the price at least another 50€. 4K content isn´t yet so widespread that justifies it, although in 3 years that scenario will have c...
It all comes down to which games you want to play… then choose the platform they are on. Otherwise the grass will always look “greener” on the other side, ever if your grass looks the “prettiest".
Yes for sure, I know it´s a semi-covert agenda since they aren´t talking much about it.
Although they did say briefly that one game, “Farpoint” had double the resolution and improved frame rate on PS4 Pro.
I also acted based on previous experiences with ageing consoles. I rather get some back on older hardware and spend a little more to get the new one, than ride the thing into the ground and have nothing to reinvest.
My PS4 is day on...
I always disagree with this douche and I hate generalisations but he´s on to something about the “arrogance” (although generalising).
“Apples to oranges” , why in hell would “PC Gamers won’t be tempted by Sony’s new PS4 Pro”? That´s just silly…
Even people with gaming PC´s won´t be interested in Scorpio (unless their gaming PC is ancient when the Scorpio releases).
I want to get paid to do the “guessitmate” work he does… ge...
The opportunity to sell my 3 year old PS4 and since I´m interested in PSVR, I jumped on it. So my PS4 Pro is primarily to support PSVR better. I dont have a 4K TV and probably wont get one of at least another year and I´m fine with that.
What a waste of promotional opportunity. It´s like teasing food when you can´t smell or sample it. Ridiculous.
Space hog… besides it´s fugly.
I´m more curious to see how many PSVR´s they sell this holiday season and if something they said (PSVR being PC compatible) actually happening. That would stir things up a bit.
“4K flawlessly” won´t be the case with PS4 Pro, although I agree with the rest of your statement.
Is this still coming out?
They did but hardly at all… thats exactly my point.
Most people are not actually considering this but one this the Pro is meant for is to support PSVR (the original PS4 doesn't do a good job about it). That´s an $800 proposition or closer to $920 if you add in a camera and two move controllers.
The so called console mid-teir releases should of been. Sony Pro(er) e Xbox One S(peedier). Next releases would be Sony Pro Plus(ish) and Xbox Scorio(stings). Where will the non-sense stop…?
Add to the title “… in price”.
The only (almost) certain thing is that it´s price will rise. If it becomes dominant in the console race (which is debatable, because Xbox outside the US doesn’t sell as well as Playstation), it will only be a balancing out of this generation. Just like the 360 and PS3 life spans. They ended out balancing themselves toward the end.
No way in hell is the Scorpio going to cost $399 with the announced specs… sorry but to suggest that is to be totally clueless.
I´m guessing that would vary from one dev to the next, particularly if it means a new patch and another certification process, some might not go through the trouble on older games.
However if you consider Sony interests, most certainly first party games will receive free patches. Second and third though might receive paid patches… it´s anyones guess at this point really.
Click is still click bait, whether you realize it is or not.
