Meh. I have a PS4 because I want to stay as far away from being FORCED into that perspective as much as possible.
Great as a choice for gamers who want it, but don't push it on me.
Of course it is.....some have just done it poorly, others have done it well.
This is a game that does it well. The best actually.
I'm not sure it matters. Horizon only sits at an 89, yet its the 2nd best selling PS4 exclusive next to Uncharted 4, and was nominated across the board for GOTY.
This Spider-Man game is undoubtedly masterclass.
I watched some BS review on YouTube that gave it a good score, but said the story was passable and nothing that serious. It just moves the game.
I had SERIOUS doubts the man played the game. The story telling here is on a Naughty Dog/Sucker Punch/Quantic Dream level without a doubt.
I'm more excited for the DLC. New stories > story I just completed.
IGN review vs The General Consensus.
Doesn't look the same.....still getting it though.
I mean I thoroughly enjoyed the first two so I'll be getting this......probably not right away, but I'll still be getting it.
For now, Spider-Man and Mafia III are enough to take up my time for story-driven, cinematic experiences.
What is it with Square Enix games and bad voice acting?
Nier Automata aside, it seems like every game they make sounds dubbed instead of actually voice acted.
In order:
PS2
PS1
PS4
PS3
(One could argue that it's a PS3/PS4 tie considering the gen isn't over yet).
Can't favorite a video game platform that lacks a good video game library.
I can't do video game settings that lack technology..........so far Mordor has been the only exception for me, which is weird considering I also hate medieval fantasy. lol.
But yeah, the horse and carriage farmland setting of the 1st Red Dead was too much of a yawn fest for me. I don't mind slow, but the setting turned me off.
Both games are terrible though. lol.
Reviewers have literally said the action and boss set pieces rival that of the MCU.
Since that is what's mainstream, this review probably just wants to highlight that.
The game looks like a more casual, fun, low-resey experience.
It's not going to beat the blockbusters of the bigger systems, but for Switch users its probably a good option compared to the other stuff they have.
Jesus.....Sony has been doing this shit to me for over 20 years.
Always some high quality, epic, top-tier showcasing cinematic shit!! I can't wait!
I've been gaming since the 80s and the only Spider-Man game I ever cared to play was Spider-Man for Sega Genesis (1994).
This will be the first one I've bought since then. Can't wait!
Masterpiece of a game.....but the open world wasn't the reason. lol.
I can see a PC version happening, as there are PS4 console exclusives that show up on PC....but that's about it.
I had no idea Amazon wasn't as big of a hit down under. Stores like K-Mart are almost a thing of the past here in the States.
Makes no difference if the game isn't good.
If Sony is behind a game, it being good is what you can count on. I'm not even a huge Spidey fan, and this is easily one of the BEST games I've ever played.
