I don't have too many multi-plat games in my library but this series is definitely one I enjoy.
Just make it optional.
My only fear is that in FPS games that make TPS optional, the TPS looks so weird. You get this strafing, waist-shifting movement instead of a character that runs/walks naturally.
If they add a Third Person view and it looks natural I will buy day 1.

More FPS? Pass. Most overused camera perspective in games and Sony probably knows that.
