CGI movies haven't reached total photorealism yet.
And video games haven't reached CGI movie quality.
The cycle goes on.
Ok so obviously, this system wont be competing with "ACTUAL" next gen consoles.
Yeah the story to me was the best in the series. As was the gunplay.
But the RPG elements were soooo badly stripped down and that definitely hurt the experience.
Then....there was the ending. :-(
Consoles are struggling when these games are made? WHAT??
So God for bid there is a hitch, one frame rate hiccup or one pop-up, my experience should totally be exchanged for $500 of new hardware?
I hope that's your definition of a "struggle" cuz that's all I'm seeing. And if so....have fun with that new hardware, buddy.

Why are people so anxious for PS4?? The PS3 is churning out SOOO many good experiences. For me, my anticipated first and third party list of games I look fwd to:

Oh well. i was satisfied. The above mentioned games should be a benchmark for other devs to pump out another 2 to 3 years of QUALITY work.

Too many games are selling like hotcakes for devs and pubs to see any financial incentive to roll out anything new in terms of hardware.
I can play games on current gens, im havin a blast with em. I can do another 3 years on my PS3 no prob.
The only thing I find wrong with this is the Laura Croft voice actress. Holy sh*t either find a new voice over or tell this woman to stop over-acting!
And why is she a whiny punk b*tch? Isn't Laura Croft supposed to be tough? (seems like they might be going for an origin, 'this is what made her tough' approach).
Otherwise....I'll be getting this....because popcorn flick/blockbuster set-pieces are my thing. :-)

I don't understand. The 360 only has like a 3 million unit lead over PS3 globally.
Clearly both platforms are in high demand by consumers, and both platforms are highly profitable avenues for developers.
Pros and cons on both systems aside, I don't think anybody "lost" this console generation....and that's a good thing.
