You and I apparently live in different worlds. The only speech I ever see that's censored is that which doesn't align lock-step with the left's orthodoxy... but then again I'm not really assuming you're making an intellectual argument, rather one that's disingenuous and designed to advance your ideology through subterfuge.

In all seriousness its biggest problem will be that Rockstar has been around for decades now and still has no damn clue how to design controls that make character motion feel like anything other than a terrible chore. "Realism" is their Achilles heel.
"The AAA experience" is an overrated unattainable goal that every single developer should move away from immediately, and I blame the toxic gaming "media" for nudging the industry in that direction for the past two decades.
Games are games. Games are not movies. Make games fun to play, every other goal is secondary. The end.
I love Dark Souls 2. It gets unfairly treated at times IMO, but a lot of it was due to the vanilla game needing to be re-adjusted with Scholar of the First Sin. Powerstancing and the vast weapon selection were major high points for me.
(PS5) The fact that if you close the game during a mission and the game has saved on a checkpoint in the mission that the save gets corrupted is pathetic. It still hasn't been fixed.
Depends on the type of review. If you're critically scoring it, yeah, finish it. If you're providing recommendations, nah, just play enough to get the gist so people can make adequate comparisons in relation to taste.
Couldn't disagree more. I think it looks great and I'm glad they're focusing more on content, design, and gameplay rather than pushing graphics through the roof when it already looks good. It's also going to be a different experience in 4k running in front of you versus these videos.
That design decision is one of the many reasons why FromSoft games are head and shoulders above the competition.

This is the character for PvPers who want to allocate their stats how they see fit.
It's one of my top 10 games of all time so I'm definitely on board.

Rift Apart doesn't deserve above a 7 by any metric, and I literally own two PS5s and haven't bought an Xbox since the original.

Eh, not bad. Missing me some boxing though.

And after we apply the Pachter-is-wrong-about-everyth ing filter we learn that Sony indeed got the greatest deal in history.
Ultimate Nineball!
I'd pick the Tower Knight or Flamelurker for you young'uns.
So I've seen a 2/5, a 7/10, and a 10/10. I get that games are subjective but good lord. This one's all over the map.
I like Discord integration, but adding a Steam Link app would be absolutely killer.
Rofl... Defilement, here we come!
Hulk: Ultimate Destruction for the PS2 was really, really good if you came here looking for something you might not be aware of.
Hopefully they take the last good Wolverine games approach and dial it up to 11.

Now if they could just fix estus cancel, bow glitching, front stabs, and phantom range we'd be in good shape
