This totally organic and in no way shady article from [outlet] talking about [game] is clearly due to excitement and how good [game] is! Everyone is obsessed and in no way is this article from [outlet] suspect by any means.
Bass Masters Classic for the SNES was pretty great
EDIT: Author should be arrested for saying RDR2 has the best fishing minigame without even so much as mentioning any of the Zeldas. Criminal.
"The critics will no doubt linger out there and complain that $50 to play classic games is too much. But you get some overwhelming value here, and it continues to pay off with each new addition."
It's value because the writer says it's value. Solid logic. I'm gonna save $50 a year and pass on a quarter-baked classics library, thanks.
...and? Are they supposed to magically increase revenue or something?
I went to LA once. Listened to that Tool song often ever since lol
"Our game isn't original at all and has absolutely nothing that makes it stand out from the crowd. Its utterly devoid of any meaningful qualities whatsoever. Think people... think! How do we get some low-brow easy attention?"
IMO it's in part because most good ideas for games have already been done and done well, and what we see now are just derivatives of other things or combos of things. Dev teams are also generally way too large and disconnected from themselves to deliver a cohesive, fun experience. Unfortunately that's a side effect of chasing that "AAA" experience for so many years as well as the warped, vapid, superfluous standards that most "gAmE jOuRnAlIsTs" have inflicted upon ...

Given the recent videos of their stuff currently in development I can't say I'm excited for either. Probably not gonna sit well with the fanboys and downvote bots but oh well.
Think about how uninteresting the Draugr ruins got over time in Skyrim and then water it down and multiply it 10x.
Getting excited about this game is foolish. Keep a level head, keep the hype at a minimum and we may not end up with NMS Fanboy Meltdown 2.0

I would've preferred good controls or, you know... fun... but hey. Cool detail!
Graphics are the least of the Pokemon franchise's problems.
Pretty weak lineup to start off with tbh. I was kinda worried about that when they kept throwing around the "800" or whatever bloated number of titles when they were promoting it a few months ago without mentioning any titles specifically. Maybe they'll add some more quickly.
Well when you devalue professional reviews with a decade or more of trash "jOuRnAlIsM" and user reviews are unreliable because every other game gets review bombed due to some overly-sensitive group of political lackeys having some ax to grind what the hell do you expect?
It's exactly why YouTubers beg for people to comment their suggestions and opinions. They know it's going to start fights and drive up their numbers.
Anger breeds engagement. That's why nothing changes for the positive.
2, 1, 3, GOWPS4, Ghost, Chains, Ascension in that order.
Fight me.
