It still sold well and from what I understand is still selling. Articles like this are a big part of the reason devs have covertly shifted their beta phases to post-release. They can release a broken game, people will bitch, it'll still sell, and then after it's "complete" journos will give it a second wind praising it for "how good it is now". Devs take a few arrows but get off pretty much scot-free, early adopters take the biggest hit, and journos get to play bot...

That doesn't change the end result. Why is this news? Also, DS3 came out in 2016, not 2013. You should check your own words before reading things for everyone else.

It ran at 60fps on the PS4 Pro like four years ago.

The PS5 is the better console, but neither have had a true next gen-feeling game yet.

It's almost become a ritual to log into the Switch and check out the SNES offerings, get excited for a second that something's new, get totally deflated when it's total crap, and then not check again for six months.

I'm honestly shocked at how over-rated and over-scored this game is. Outside of load times it does absolutely nothing better than any other past Ratchet. I'm not even sure the people commenting here are real or have actually played the game, or past Ratchets for that matter.

I wrote the adjacent review on MC a week before Dunkey did his. Feel free to refute any of it, and if you want bullet points or analysis ask before throwing a tantrum.

If you go to the user review game page on MC you'll see the same pattern you see here. All the glowing user reviews say the same empty corporate platitudes with no specifics (omg best game ever, it's so good, perfection, etc.). The mixed and negative ones provide more context and are mainly from longt...

This game has the weakest, lowest amount of content in any full-sized Ratchet and Clank release to date and almost no replay value as Challenge mode adds no changes other than raising the weapon level cap. The planets are painfully linear and designed with very little creativity; the new "gadgets" acting as design crutches to thoughtlessly warp from point-A-to-B rather than requiring the developer to cleverly design the layout of the planets to wrap around themselves in new and inte...

This game's challenge mode is the weakest offering of any past Ratchet game. "Shows how much you know."

Played it and platinumed it in about 15 hours. Didn't finish challenge mode since there's no real reason once you get the trophies. No skill points. No real collectibles... unlike the other better Ratchet games of the past.

Wizards should be investigated by the FTC for rigging in Arena. They're a filthy, rotten company.

Hopefully that design phase is "be more like Oblivion".

Cool! Remaster the original 3 Ratchet games. Deadlocked would be an awesome bonus too.

More cooks in the kitchen isn't necessarily a good thing.
